Lol, yeah, Martin Freeman is awesome! Hobbits coming out in a couple of days over here, my friends and I are planning to dress as Frodo, Gandalf, Baggins etc and go to see it on Boxing day
Sherlock Holmes generally I guess... Read all the books, seen all the movies and TV shows... Doctor Who too
How about you? What shows/books etc do you like?

Well i love sherlock bbc but i'm not interested in 'elementary' in the slightest as i find what they've done with the sorry horrorifying, whilst my friends are trying to get me to what the jude law, downey jr movies. aside from sherlock, i din't really do any other tv relegiously, even strictly come dancing is touch and go. i hope you know what that is as you said 'over here' so i'm assuming your not from england as the hobbit came out a few days ago. i used to what dr who relegiously, however when matt smith became the doctor i lost interest.
i'm a fan of oscar wilde, jk rowling, sara manning, arthur conan doyle, obviously, david thewlis as far as writers go.
i took alook on you're profile so i've a good idea who you're into, so forgive me for not bouncung the quest right back.

Bleugh! Elementry hasn't even started over here, but I'm sure not planning to watch it! I saw the ad and literally had a tantrum "Thieves! 'Tis CRIMINAL! Thou hast stolen from the genius of Steven Moffat!"
I don't watch an enormous amount of TV, Doctor Who, Sherlock and Merlin... Think that's about it really
Not from England no, perhaps I should have said "Down here". G'day mate
I liked David Tennant, but I don't mind Matt Smith, what with my other choice in TV, I often need some sci-fi humour to balance out all the doom, gloom and suspense
Great music! (looked at your profile) I love Freddie Murcury, named my parrot after him
Ah, and Roald Dahl I see . He never gets old!
Hope you're enjoying the lead up to Christmas/Hanukkah, whatever you celebrate

I wouldn't bother watching it wehen it come on, those who i know who even bothered with such blaspemy of watching it, have been disgusted by the total utter crapness of it!
No i dont watch a lot of tv really, prefering to read fanfictions, or write my won fanfictions or novels, but sherlock is a wonderful expection to the rule.
Ah australia! well, how weird is that, because the only other person i've had in depth conversations with over the internet is also from australia!
Why thanks you! i can beat that, i myslef am nicknamed after him! all my friends been renamed by myslef with names that are related the queen and those around them, and i was about to christan my friend freddie and she was like 'nuh uh! you are the only one who could be freddie' so i took to the name as gracefully as one could!
Yeah indeed!
Christmas, because like Martin Freeman, i'm a debated 'roman catholic'...and to you!

Haha, blasphemy indeed!
Yeah, I read more ff than books :S. it's a terrible habit really, there's an ever increasing stack of novels by my bedside and I'm sitting there with my phone/laptop getting overexcited about updates . I used to mainly read Sherlock fics only, but I went over to Merlin a while ago and found some really great stuff that I'm kinda stuck on!
Haha, and suck to the people who think that most Aussies are brainless bogans! (believe me, those idiots are out there)
Aw you're so lucky! Why don't my mates nickname me after anyone decent? I've (somewhat ironically) been stuck with the name "Gum" for 5 bloody years! And I don't even know how I got it .
Ah, cool . I'm not religious, which actually works quite well for me, because my friends are slightly divided between Catholic/Christian and Jewish... The Jewish friend is lovely, but rather strong minded about... Well Jesus and all that, so I count myself as a neutral point, no one gets cross at me, but everyone can talk to me
Do you go to church and stuff?

I'm exactly like that with fanifictions as well! especially when i have free internet on my phone. i've been through sirius/remus, teddy/james jr, to Sherlock/John.
indeed, i've relatives out there so i know you're not 'brainless bogans'!
Yeah, it's great. confuses people as well, which is always funny. it got me and me mates discount sweets once as the retro sweet shop near us was run by a bloke who was in queen before they were queen, then quit just before they hit it big time, so we went in there with queen shirts on, calling each other by our nicknames, and he grinned and gave us sweets on the cheap! so funny!
Sometimes. God and i have an interesting relationship. i like to challenge and push him to his limits alot, but then revert to being a good girl for a bit just to keep on side. sometimes i'll pray to him, sometimes i'll pray to david bowie, freddie meercury and marc bolan. oddly, i seem to get more results from david bowie, freddie and bolan! i like to think i have helped god develop a sense of humour!

I read Sherlock/John for a while, it kinda depends how it's done for me really... I don't mind slash but it has to be well written, aimless explicit content gets on my nerves bigtime
I never really read much Harry Potter ff, I just think that JK did it so flawlessly that I don't feel the need to look into the alternatives and interpretations on the original plot as much... And also I like to be able to flick through all the stories, I don't read all of them (obviously) but I don't like missing titles for some reason, and HP is so popular that I'd never keep up .
Lol, there are a few bogans though... They can be found in bars and small country towns
Ah! Lol, that must've been cool
I love people who are just nice like that . I heard of a man who jumped off a bridge on the way to work to rescue a dog from the river, some people are just so kind, they totally restore my faith in humanity
Haha, I imagine I'm one of Gods less cooperative students
I watch too much Tim Minchin to be seriously religious... And I pray to this guy [link] Niiiccckk!
I take my rock n' roll very seriously!

I see.
No it was harry potter fanfictions that got me into fanfiction, however one time i was looking for something particular and it wasn't in the fandoms created around the harry potter series, that included characters i wouldn't mind reading about, but i found it else wear. infactit was in sherlock, and that's how i got into sherlock (yep conan doyle in turning in his grave) i read the fanfic, like them, started to read the books and get obsessed as par usual!
I was very cool. when they opened the shop, the local paper got a queen tribute band to play!
Thing is right, i'm inclined to believe there is something like a god up there because somethings i find i can only explain as god's doing. however some of the things being stricly relegious requires, do not interest me in the slightest and i'm not going to change how i live or what i enjoy because some book written by people who think of themselves so highly to call themselves prophets says i should. nope i'm going to enjoy what i want becuase i want to!
Ahh mr cave, very nice choice, and of course, i believe one of his songs was the only popular culture song to appear in the harry potter films.

Haha, I got into Sherlock Holmes through my great uncle, he lent me the full series when I was 10 and I was madly obsessed since . I thought the movies were fairly good, but I preferred the BC/MF series as well as the Jeremy Brett series from 1984.
That sounds cool! We have a few good bands around our area, John Butler (lives a few streets away from me ), Tim Minchin and a few local jazz/indie bands. Most of the greats are over east though.
I dunno, it'd be nice to have a God I suppose... I don't really know what I believe as such, I just live a non-religious life, but love to study religion
Yup! Nick the Striiiiiipper . Ah, yeah! I watched that movie and literally started squealing and giggling... My friends thought I was mad! I was slumped at the cinema going "Nick Nick Nick Nick Nick!!!!". My favourites are the Murder Ballads though, and Henry's Dream... And maybe the Boatman's call and... Yeah, mot of his stuff actually
. "People Aint No Good" also appeared in the series Monroe... More fan giggling. Oh and "The Assassination of Jesse James" with Warren Ellis! and more recently "Lawless". I'm really excited for that movie to come out
. Yeah... I love Nick Cave waaaaaay too much
. Him and Paul Kelly, aussie-bloody-legends!
Oh wow... I seem to be rambling :S. What of his stuff do you like?

Yeah, i also definately favour the modern day one of the bbc, it's handled it all so brilliantly!
My mum, when she and my dad lived in london, used to see Pete townsend from the who walk from his flat in the next block and she'd say hi every morning!
studying relegion is such fun. i argue so much with my R.E teacher, it's unreal. but in a good way. i'm the queen of controversy in class because one lesson, when i was in a particularly bad mood with god, i accused Jesus of being a conman and that all his 'miracles' were just a result of him having a greater understanding of medicine than those of his time, which sent the mormon kid in our class crazy. but then of course, with my religious teachings from church, it's a doddle! bible stories and quotes, etc are already ingrained.
i'm nota massive follower of nick cave, but occasionally i'll go on youtube and listen to his stuff and i enjoy it but the only song i know the title of is oh children. don't worry about rambling! i do it a lot myself!

Yeah, I can't wait for the next season! I so wanna see John's face
Your mum met Pete Townshend!? That is so cool! jeeeeeaaallllloooouuuussssseee!
Haha, my PRS (philosophy and religious studies) teacher always lets me doodle through her classes, she even mentioned it in my report . I always say that people of different faiths should just accept each-other and learn to get along on a global scale
Ah, yeah, O Children was the one they used in HP. Have you heard [link] It's one of my personal favourites
Happy Christmas! Speaking of Nick, I got the "Triple J Tribute to Nick Cave" album! Loads of great songs, I'm really happy

hehe, Lisa Mitchell, she's from Melbourne and is probably my favourite singer of all time (save for Nick Cave maybe). I don't know if anyone has heard of her up in the UK, but she wrote a couple of popular songs "Coin Laundry", "Oh! Hark!", "Spiritus"... And a lot more, but for the sake of your sanity I won't name them all
Wellll, there's a few strange people in my area, so I regularly find odd and interesting stuff on the side of the road
Ah! Snap Babel I assume?
Lol, I'm sure Lupin only has the chocolate for *cough-medical-purposes-cough*
He does sound cool! Made a note of his name, I'm on my phone again and the headphones are broken so I'll have to wait til tomorrow, sounds great though! Lol, what's with the Jakes' today? My friend Jacob and I were chatting on fb, then I was listening to Bluejuice (aka Jake Stone) and now Jake Bugg! WhooOoo

wow, maybe that's where sherlocks slunk off to in search of moriaty's lot and had to abandon the coat as it was too conspicuous!
yes, babel, i've got their other one to.

Wow! That's quite a lot of people! I briefly met Gareth David Lloyd and Natalia Tena, but didn't really get to talk much
Haha! If only I hadn't found it ages ago, I'd love to believe that
Mmm, yeah, I have Sigh No More too
Haha, I genuinely don't like chocolate, I wish I did, but it just... bluegh...

You can believe! Chant to your self 'i do believe it's sherlocks, i do, i do'...i really hope you get that referance.
Sounds fun. Urgh my grans'! Well you see my cousins from dubai were over and they're, to put it lightly, very spoilt and used to being waited on hand foot and any other body part, because they live in hotels becuase of my uncles job. and so they managed, in the period of the 24nrs we were both there to cause great infuriation for me!!!

Urgh, my cousins are all pretty nice, but I've met some spoilt types around school etc, lol, sounds like you had a great time! *overuse of sarcasm here*
