Eventually. On hiatus until after Halloween. Costumes are expensive and time-consuming.

Hi KMC,
I've taken on some of the admin work in the Nerf Armory group to get things moving there again. If you want to resubmit The Blood Oath again, and any new works you might have on the way, I'll ensure they get into the gallery without delay.

In fact, I did need to take a new glamour shot of the Blood Oath anyway. I'll submit the new one this week.

We're just sorting out some details about the admin permissions - I'll get your images approved as soon as Mike gets back to me - hopefully soon

After much consideration, I'm probably gonna change it back when DA lets me. That or alter it to Kingdom Come Customs instead; Kingmaker was a weird choice in retrospect and I'm not really happy with it. Plus, I never changed it anywhere else so...

Hope You don't mind me using Seburo R-12 "Dozer" design in my fanart of GitS . I simply found it savagely-fine design (matching theme of GitS) and matching my character design in over 100%. Link below:

PS: would you mind me if I did in-detail specification for it matching Masamune Shirow future set reality (ammunition usd, RPS etc) ?

Be my guest! Frankly I'm just shocked someone found a feasable way to holster the thing. Make sure to give credit where its due, though; a link to the original photo would be appreciated.

A little story featuring one of your oldest creations.
One of the many attempts to overthrow the Queen by Those Whose Eyes Gleam, after many attempts being Thwarted by the Agents of FAME.
After many embarassing defeats, Colonel Alex Tyvearn having lost his patience and flying into a mad fury in a desperate attempt to enforce his democratic ideals decided to begin a large scale invasion.
His grand army was headed by mass production Mechanical Militants, also known as the Chrome Sentinels.
Shiney, metalic combat chassis built with killing intent wielding the Sentinel Combat rifle, a Triplex Rifle, the main weapon being a high caliber magazine fed cannon with a pair of machine pistols built into either side of the hand held cannon.
The battle was known as the War of the Chrome, a battle that while dealing a serious blow to England's military force, failed to depose the queen, infact, the Chrome Sentinel's programming incapable of identifying combatants from civilians only reinforced the fact that Those Whose Eyes Gleam were no more than a terrorist organization.
The battle ended with a one on one gun fight between Tobias Landgrave wielding his Royal Revenant, and Alex Tyvearn wielding his Chrome Dissenter, the Dissenter was a large high caliber auto revolver with an extended barrel and bayonet.
Despite all that, it was Tobias that ended the mad assault of Colonel Tyvearn, an act that solidified the Royal Revenant as a piece of English Iconography and earned the weapon the title of "The Gun that won the Chrome War"
What do you think? You like it? I know my writing isnt great, but I tried.

I love the Fallout world so most of my characters are based on Fallout: NV and other video games.

You only do weapons? If so what are the limits? Only firearms or are blades accepted? Do you do apparel like clothing? Other props like pip boys etc?
π: 0 β©: 1
KingMakerCustoms In reply to KigenKitsuneOokami [2014-10-15 19:09:25 +0000 UTC]
I do non-weapon props but I specialize in weapons. Also, as a rule, I don't ever, ever do straight replicas, i.e. Pip Boys or prop versions of real in-game weapons. I don't do clothes, but I do some blades. There are no limits to weapons or object props, as long as there is no limit to time or money.

KigenKitsuneOokami [2014-10-15 16:09:14 +0000 UTC]
So if I asked you guys to build some fallout (video game) based weapons, you'd make the props and I buy them from you? I'm considering doing a Fallout Fan Film when I get free time off base (I'm in the USMC)

KingMakerCustoms In reply to KigenKitsuneOokami [2014-10-15 16:20:53 +0000 UTC]
This is accurate. 40% upfront for commission work, just to cover supplies and gas to pick up supplies mostly. I would need a full description of everything you'd want made upfront for pricing and timing purposes. Generally pistols are around 100 USD, rifles are around 200 USD, and artillery is around 300 USD, though obviously I'd obliterate those prices for a mass order. Email me at SpencerDavis31@gmail.com or LandgraveCustomsPropServices@gmail.com if you're serious.

Just want to say your props are epic looking. I just started making my own props out of NERF Guns and stuff but none look that good (which is probably because I don't have lots of cash or time to put into them). You've inspired me to do my best and put more time on my Borderlands based stuff I'm working on.

KingMakerCustoms In reply to Rykalt [2013-10-14 15:30:32 +0000 UTC]
Shockingly, cash or time isn't my secret. I am proud of my status as the cheapest and fastest professional Nerf modder out there (though I am abysmally slow at actually getting my parts together). The secret, if anything, is that I've been doing this for half a decade now, and practice makes better. I'd give you a critique of your own work but you haven't posted anything yet... get to that, brother.

I just added two props. One is finished (if any work is needed on it, it is just needs upkeep of keeping it looking good) and another just needs some painting.Β

Hello Sir,
Ever since painting my first Maverick a few years back, I've been steadily amassing a Nerf collection to tinker with. Β Inspired by masters such as yourself and Brian Johnson, I recently finished my first project and would appreciate any feedback.

KingMakerCustoms In reply to Saucy888 [2013-10-07 19:24:15 +0000 UTC]
Hey, Saucy.
Sure thing, I'll check it out as soon as I send this reply! Always glad to give feedback to relative newcomers. I'll post the response on one of your pictures of the piece, since I'll probably be referring directly to the object and it'll make more sense with the thing in front of my face. Otherwise, welcome to the ranks! If you need anything, I tend to be one of the more helpful people to go to out there since my work is custom and therefore I don't really have to compete against anyone... once I get a job, it's my job, so don't feel the same pressure to stop the flow of trade secrets and such as some other modders do.
Talk to you soon,
Spencer, of Landgrave Customs prop Services

You're customizations are awesome! I've always gotten confused though, what's the difference between steampunk and cyberpunk?Β
I know what steampunk is but I've never really heard of cyberpunk until I saw your awesome videos on youtube.Β

KingMakerCustoms In reply to SPARTANSLAYERR [2013-08-01 05:11:59 +0000 UTC]
Hm... so we're working backwards here. Let me explain. Cyberpunk is a literary genre that was created in the late 70's and early 80's which really came into its own in the 90's. Characterized by dark, complex aesthetics and technological advancement set in a socially stagnated dystopian metropolitan society, the theme of Cyberpunk is usually the escape of government or corporate control, classism, and the role of technology. Steampunk as we know it started almost as a parody of Cyberpunk, exploring the same general themes but doing so in an anachronistically elegant Victorian setting as opposed to a grungy urban modern one. Of course, Steampunk as a genre existed namelessly for many decades before Cyberpunk came into being, in the writing of Jules Verne, H.P. Lovecraft, and others who were later coopted into the genre.
For a crash course, see:
- Bladerunner
- Ghost in the Shell
- System Shock
- The Sprawl trilogy
- Neuromancer
