more like a wound to a parasite. a foetus isn't human until it's birthed. just like an egg isn't a chicken until it hatches, a seed isn't a plant until it sprouts, and a piece of code isn't a software program until it's been made useable.
unless you're calling eggs chickens, seeds plants, and pieces of code software, a foetus isn't a human. and no, a foetus isn't human to me. it's a parasite, and one that will cause me to commit suicide if i have to carry it.

I wasn't saying that at all, I just didn't understand your comparison. When something medical related happens to someone, it's usually not self inflicted, forcing someone to not get help because something happened to them out of their control is cruel. I don't have a problem with abortion as long as the mother took necessary precautions to avoid pregnancy, but it happened anyway (ie birth control or condoms that failed), or the pregnancy has horrible repercussions (ie rape, incest, or mother's health is in danger). I don't think abortions should be done when the woman had clear reasoning (wasn't intoxicated), had the ability to use protection, and none of the above things I listed happened (health is in danger, etc.) which make up a huge chunk of the cases. I mean no disrespect whatsoever.

my apolgies, though i believe that anybody (woman, man, or otherwise) should be allowed an abortion whenever they feel they want one.
