I wonder if you've heard of the Volatix Cabal. A sub-species of strange, mentally mutilated Daleks that have operated during the time war. Imagine the Cult of Skaro but if they were more...demented. These Daleks actually have a large form of creativity that allows them to take on various forms that barely even resemble a Dalek. They do have casings that are like spider like contraptions and so on. I admired the creativity behind them (no pun intended).
They seem to be entirely different from the Dalek norm in so many ways as their sadistic and narcisstic and only usefulness was for the time war.

No, sorry. I point blank refuse to build a Dalek that's supposed to be made from farm equipment that doesn't look like it's actually made from farm equipment.
Seriously though, I just found it . . . uninspired? I'm all for seeing a Dalek building itself a casing from what's lying around in its immediate vicinity, but that prop seemed like a least interesting route to go with that idea. Shame really - it *is* a nice idea for a visual!

Well that dalek casing wasn't made from just farm equipment it was also made from survivingΒ parts of its original shell and possibly other salvaged dalek parts stored in the black archive. Most farm yard scrap metal was likely melted down to produce the more dalek shaped pieces and other parts like the massive cogs were likely a component hidden in the skirt. daleks are prideful so it would have tried its best to make its shell look as un earth like as possible plus it was in a rush due to the doctor chasing it and struggling to control Lin's body so it's no surprise that it didn't look finished.
