Hi,
I've been watching a great artist for a while now and have noticed that some of their artwork is being deleted. Whether it is nudity or underage related, its rather sad to see that lots of their work has been reported. I'm not saying that its you directly, as your journal directs the attention to those who you are 'hanging' with here on DA, but it seems to be one of the main sources of going around and reporting what seems to be breaking DA's rules. When I go to see what image has been deleted, a lot of the times I'm surprised as to what's deleted. The artist does put a warning of mature content on what would be unsuited for younger viewers.
All I'm asking is to try and have a civilized conversation to understand how you base your justifications on.

I fail to understand how an anime character can be underaged. What if the artist draws them as a twenty-year-old? They wouldn't look much different from, say, their seventeen-year-old self, but wouldn't that keep a piece of art from being underaged? I fail to see the intent in someone deleting half of an artist's gallery because there's an anime character in it who's 15-17 in the original manga. You're only going to then cause these artists to post their art somewhere where people can appreicate it without getting their gallery removed by someone being immature.
PS. There's a lot of stuff out there that's worse than a nude anime character. Target that next time. I'm sure plenty of people have some hints to drop to those things. What about naked babies? Is that underaged porn?

God, have you read the FAQ? dA only take in account the description given by the original creator of a said Character.
So, no matter how many years you age them up, they are still their original age for dA (as well as for Federal law about copyrights I think.)
Also, if some of her stuff was deleted for a reason, and she knowingly re-upload it afterward, then she is to blame, and can be permanantly banned.
And about the worst stuff left out there: next time you wanna accuse me of something, do a little search.

Okay. I do not want to argue. I want to have a discussion. I do not want to insult you in anyway.
Okay. So it looks like you do not like porn or underage things. I can understand that. Many people do not. But the thing is, you have to look at it from both points of view. Porn is very raunchy and dirty.
However, there is also another thing. Nudity. Nudity is NOT porn. Nudity in a picture can be a person just standing without any clothes. Nudity can be a person lying down on a couch with no clothing. Nudity is only for people 18+. But it is NOT porn. It is underaged, but that is why there is a Mature Content Filter.

Mature content is on dA in case there is partial or total nudity in the artwork. It is not meant to cover up for underage nudity. No matter what tags or filter you put on, depicting a minor in the nude is still illegal on dA. You can take a look at the FAQ 248 and 249 if you want more info about it.
If you take a look at my favs, you'll se that I have artistic nude and also fetish models in there. If I was really anti-nude, would they be there?

I did read the rules. And it says there in plain view. They do NOT allow depicting nudity of a minor. Everything your saying is true. However, I have a question. Let's say if a person drew a nude picture of a fictional character who is 17, but then turns 18, is that considered depicting a minor still?

Well, for someone who is 12, you're pretty mature and well educated. Never stop being so.
Now, like dA states it in the FAQ, for a fictionnal character, they take the average age over the lenght of the serie.
Take Edward Elric from FMA for example. Yes, he is depicted as an adult in the last chapter of the manga. But for everything before that, he is depicted as a minor. Thus, most people will associate this image and this age with the character. Also, some people uses this as a way to bypass the age issue. They claim that they "age up" a character, or that because a manga has run for long enoug, characters are no older.
The only person who can state what age and if the character will eventualy age up i the original creator. No one else.

I never called her work Porn. She did.
I never harassed her. In order to do that, I should be costantly contacting her, following her everywhere on the internet, leaving comment on all her pages, etc. I am not acting in such manner. She feels harassed because she is a paranoid and has delusions problems.

Who said it was me? She can't prove, nor can you. Beside, from what I saw in her mangabullet gallery (that she almost advertise out loud), most of her stuff that I guess was removed was probably due to the Underage Nudity rule. As far as I know, Orihime Inoue still is udner 18.

Though I do agree with you about stealing people's artwork, that pisses me off, but your going around and reporting over the littlest of things on this persons artwork, who she spends a whole lot of time drawing. And as far as I know, Inoue's age is never really disclosed, and I think it's commonly taken she's the same age as Ichigo, which makes her under 18.

Don't tell me what I can and can not do. I'm talking about how your reporting my friends pictures that relate to anime. OK so if Inoue's age is never disclosed, how do you know how old she really is? Is it fun to report people's drawings, because going on a "deleting" drawing rampage, people get pissed off for there stuff getting reported because of some people like you who report them for the littlest of things. There are people who are actually posting PORN and NAKED people, and with no filter either. So, please, report things when it is absolutely necessary.
