No, it is not just you. Just experiment with MUGEN and read the docs, that's how I learned.

I started with simple character stat edits.

But it's complex and very hard making an avatar, and i also lost the code i made last night.
I can still look into it, but i would have to help with sprites or concepts.
Example: Demented Donald. A char that would be based off of Dimentio from Super Paper Mario. an example of this would be his 12p. As it's purple. Another example would be his theme, The Ultimate Show, as it is a theme of Dimentio's.
See? I can make this work, I have so many ideas
