Nope, Magic is a better troll, and I'll explain why.
You see, Discord trolled Equestria because he was butthurt about the fact that Princess Celestia had turned him into a statue years ago. However, pure trolls don't get butthurt, or have motives to troll others. Having such qualities weakens them as trolls, and increases their chances of being counter-trolled. Pure trolls troll simply because they can, and feel neutral about the ones they victimize. That definition fits Magic Man's persona nearly to a T, unlike Discord, who's more of a magnificent bastard if anything.
