Here's some things you need to know:
+ Giving a "llama" badge doesn't mean you are giving one of yours away, you are buying him/her a llama, but since it costs no , you pay absolutely nothing! They will be more likely to visit your page to say "thank you for the llama" or give one in return, which I believe will help improve your profile stats (pageviews, number of favourites your art receives, etc.).
+ Favouriting and commenting on artworks is a big part of the community! Try looking at Daily Deviations , What's Hot , Undiscovered , Popular 24 Hours to find deviations that you really like! I prefer Daily Deviations.
+ Groups are a way to gain more exposure for your deviations. You can find those under Groups . Some groups that I recommend joining are:

, , and - those are the biggest (and the most active) three groups dedicated to giving and receiving llamas.
