Been awhile since we chatted it up eh? School has had it's crappy and awesome moments over the past year and a half, but overall I'm getting by all right. I'm in the film, video, and integrated media program which is why I haven't made much 2D work lately. I've made some friends since I started here, mostly crazy folk from around the world. I often see Ellen around the campus these days which is cool too. What's new with you?

Jabbing my brain with film theory and techniques and shit. I've occasionally run into Camosun people since I started at ECU. Are you taking classes at UVic or any other place these days?

Thanks, I've been reading the X-Wing novel series recently and loved the characters so much, that I have been drawing them one by one. I really need to paint them soon and submit them on deviant but I have been so preoccupied lately, and lazy too. To help me, I just bought some of the old X-Wing comics so I can get a better understanding of how the characters look. Nice to know there are other people sketching them as well!

Ya, I love all thinks WWII.
I picked that one because I saw a documentary on the British Comet tank a little while ago. The Comet was their most advanced tank by 1945, and later that year, the U.S., Britain, and the U.S.S.R. had a military parade in Berlin. The brits showed off their Comets first, then the Americans drove down their M26 Pershings. The last were the Soviets, who for the first time, displayed the big-ass JS III. It outclassed the other tanks so much that during the ceramony, General Patton reportedly said to the worried British officer beside him "Don't worry, we're on your side."
Thought that was hilarious.
