Sorry for this post, but according to an artist on FA "fmirsokp", matugi passed away recently (around Feb 2019).

Before seeing that post I saw an artist on Facebook I knew who was friends with him saying someone took their own life, was wondering who it was and now I know.

Sadly, he was just not feeling well these past several years from what I've seen.

Yea! Is it just me or is it tons harder? @__@ I tried playing Ironman twice on Classic difficulty before I gave up and jumped down to Normal. Still Ironman though and still hard as hell, so much new stuff to waste money on I'm constantly broke. :0

I'm pretty impressed by how much new stuff they've put into it though. Expansions nowadays usually don't make up for their price tags.

not a huge fan of the mechs you can make. I think they could'f made them more awesome than just heads on robots, but still pretty cool.

I agree! It's a lot of stuff! and the stupid resistance dudes, whatever they're called,  are super annoying.

I completed the original on Ironman mode! I don't know why, but I just like playing games more when I can't rewind. Every success tastes so much sweeter then! Though.. it does make you wanna throw out your computer when you're aiming a battle deciding rocket at a group of units at 90% hit chance and it goes wide, resulting in a dead squad. @__@

I agree the mechs aren't too interesting. I think they're good support units with their strength and abilities, but the fact that they don't take cover but are just supposed to run around and take hits feels a little dull, since the game is all about tactics and cover, not tanks racing into the battle. I also was disappointed that the Exalt weapons are copies of the basic XCOM weapons. They could've added tiny differences, like wider damage range or different critical chance or whatever, to make the loadout customization a little more detailed. I like to really tailor my squad to perfection.

I guess im not very good, hahaha. I get pretty bored/frustrated pretty fast.

all you need is an amazing assault and an amazing sniper to carry your squad. two good assaults and a good sniper are undefeatable. hahaha

Pff I'm sure you'd pull it off. You outfoxed me plenty when we played multiplayer. :0

Snipers with squad sight are seriously overpowered! They almost make the game boring sometimes, just using troops to find enemies for snipers to pick off with 100% aim. Then again, would be next to impossible without them. At least on ironman.

I discovered the ones with "in the zone" are more overpowered. get a kill, get another move, get another kill and you get another... and being able to move and shoot with the sniper.

thought assault is still my bread and butter. cant beat run and gun/two shots.

we should have a rematch sometime, haha

But you still would only get to move once between the shots, assuming you have Snap Shot, and the enemies would have to be flanked or in the open, but yeah, pretty powerful. Snipers are definitely the most overpowered.
