Well, I was without internet for a month and just general blah life. lol I haven't checked up on Unlikely Angel in a long time, I'm not sure why, I think my Tekken buzz let up. How is it going?

Well, one year left of school and then I'll have a shiny diploma that will force people against their will! to hire me. They must, the diploma demands compliance!
Oh man, sucks about having no internet. My net was down one summer and I think I was going into withdrawl. (I'm not kidding XD)
Ohh, funny you should ask, I'm just writing the epilogue to Unlikely Angel now. It's been... um, 1.5 years or so. Someone had suggested to me that I look into making a Doujinshi based off of UA, so that might be the next project after I'm finished writing the actual story. (I polled and asked around and it seems that people like the idea, so I'll see how that goes.)
I know what you mean about drifting from Tekken. That happens to me with some series/fandoms too. I'm trying to stick to the basics: Tekken, Dogs: Bullets & Carnage (AWESOME manga, btw) and Bleach (though, I mostly just write fics for friends in Bleach XD)
School/work has been kicking my ass, so... yeah, drained.

Just walk into the interview, put the diploma on the table, and say, "So my starting wage will be...?" (lol).
It was...fairly brutal. You see, my parent's dragged me down to the "vacation house" so, it was no internet AND no friends. Yeah. That was fun.
Damn. I think last time I read was chapter 30... you must be at like, 50. XD; I think I'll go and attempt to finish that now. A doujinshi would be epic. The whole thing or just a scene? I still need to fanart that too.
I've watched/read so many series that it's like, I'll sit down at the computer and be like, "What do I feel like today?" Except Inuyasha, I'll love that stupid show eternally.

Family vacations have a habit of cutting us off from the internets. (I went on a train ride out to the East for my brother's wedding, but most of the trip was through areas without any reception for my cell phone, so I felt pretty isolated!)
Hee, I've just finished chapter 45 (last chapter) and the epilogue is on its way. So, yeah, there's been a bit of stuff that has happened since chapter 30
I'm still trying to decide the doujinshi would show the whole thing, or not. I was thinking of just selecting some scenes, or if someone had a chapter they really wanted to do, they could do that. I've never done anything like it before, so it'll be interesting to say the least.

Yeah, so many series, so little time. I've found that my time has been cut back significantly lately, so I've had to cut back and focus only on my favs when I have time for fandom.

Looks up that chapter. Wow, 13 (it feels like so long ago!) Here's a quote from the transformation:
White, leather gauntlets had appeared on his arms, tight but comfortable against his skin from his elbow to just over his knuckles with metal plates peeking through at points of contact during a fight. He stepped back to appraise his new all-white attire; from his leather steel-capped boots, to the white pants, to the white, sleeveless vest that clung to him like a second skin.
Of course, if you wanted to do something else or change it up, I'd be cool with that. My imagination isn't too great, so I don't have a good picture of this outfit in my mind at all XD
Awww, so Inuyasha is completely over now? (I didn't follow it too much. I thought it ended a while back, but could be wrong.) Uhh... Bleach is a great series ^_^ *loves Bleach* There are some sites where you can watch the episodes online (or read the manga online, whatever you want to follow).

I think it's better that we're slowly putting this project together, rather than working super-fast on it and just churning out something quickly. A little rl distractions help keep us from getting eyeballs-deep in it and not being able to judge its quality, or at least decide if an idea is worth exploring, or if it should be nixed from the end product.
Man, I love orcs, so no worries about being 'gay' for it. I don't think I'll get around to playing elder scrolls (I did play a super-early incarnation of it, which was fun) but I love that type of adventure game, so by all means. Enjoy playing!

I have no idea why this thread didn't show up on my main page. I don't get some of the settings here on DA, like each comment appears open and there for anybody to see, rather than being truncated. I have my personal settings to truncate, but if I'm logged out? Bah, I see everything. I'm a bit of a neat freak, so that kinda bothers me... I also don't like NOT getting messages that I have new messages on my main board. Again, these are minor quibbles, though.

heya just to let u know i've uploaded some fairly new images, mostly of them in my scraps but some in gallery. I was also thinking hows the plot for the comic going? if u want maybe i can help nd stuff, like if u had any ideas in bullet point form then i cud have a looksies and maybe help out *i dunno*, but at the same time i still need to finish off some design details, although maybe it would help to like get me really focussed if we sorted the barebones like, this happens, then this, then this and finally this (or something like that!) anyway.. gotta go am at work being naughty and secretive whilst working at the same time, shit my boss is right there why am i still writing!!!

Well, either way, I'm going to check and comment on your sketches now. Oh man, that's such a cool thing to log in and find.
I do have my thoughts out in bullet point. I'll copy them to the computer and send some along. My problem right now is that I have a notebook with the entire story in it... but the story isn't sequential, and often it will go like this:
"- Scarret goes to make a nuisance of himself
- Bishop follows along because he needs to ask for something something
- Hmm, Caro, where's this going? Maybe we should have them go and do this, but remember I wanted to have that girl brought in and maybe she should make an appearance somewhere soon
- Dont' forget to bring in the mantis zombie!!!"
And then I sorta deviate from my original train of writing, because I was using the paper to sorta write out my thoughts until a good one came along. So now I'm sorting through my thoughts and the good ideas and transcribing them to a notebook... and then to the computer. I'll hpefully be done soon because I want to get your opinion on it. I don't know if it's too long or not, but it's always easier to chop off a few spots to make it fit 20 pgs, instead of trying to beef up a weak story/plot.

yeah sure send me whatever you've got it would be sweet to take a ganders. i did a little bit of painting last night, digitally, and then some oil painting as well, i just wanted to paint a face but ended up painting a zombie!1 lol i totally cannot draw anything else
