Aw, that's okay, I close ALL the time, so I know what you're talking about. xD;
And I'm not sure if I'll be up too late tonight since I have to get up early for my family reunion tomorrow, but you never know.

I was actually thinking about that last night. xDD Let's see. I figure if the Venture docked, and Liz found out that the Legacy was there as well, her immediate reaction would be DENIAL DENIAL DENIAL. Then guilt. Then some more denial. Then anger at herself for all the guilt and denial. Then some more denial. (See the theme here?)
And then she would pretend to have to give the ENTIRE SHIP like an overhaul, because you never know when something will happen and blah blah blah. (Denial.) And then Kent (First Officer) would go down and order her off the ship, because he thinks she needs and break and he just likes messing with people. xD; (And he senses the denial.) He'd probably tell Pierce to keep an eye on her, too, just incase all that pent-up emotion does something to her. And Pierce will follow her sort of, but also because he still totally digs her. (poor guy.)

So she would go, extremely pissed off (pretending that she's pissed at Kent but actually pissed at herself-- DENIAL.), and try to convince herself that the chances of running into Tantomus are like a billion to one, and that there's nothing wrong, and that he's probably moved on anyway, and by now he's probably with someone else, and it doesn't matter, and so what that they have a baby in a test tube somewhere...

All this does is make her even more annoyed (at the thought of Tantomus with someone else) and miserable (see previous), so...

If they WERE to run into each other?
Liz would be an emotional wreck all over the inside, but no doubt ridiculously passive on the outside, like, just... Urgh.

It annoys ME to think about it. xD

Wooooow! That's a lot for one person to feel! lol.

Tanto would want to do everything in his power to "accidentally" be wherever Liz might be. That's what he would WANT to do but I think he would be too damn prideful to actually do that...much lol.
He's not even thinking that there is a possibility she wouldn't want to see him. He's just like "We went separate ways. Our ways are together. Ignore everyone else."
..and that's all he's really thinking right now. xD

Of course, he has missed her. They hear about it in chat all the time and you already know but it's so weird to him how much their weird relationship affected him lol.
So I guess he would still try and play it cool and not think that it's gonna suck to see her and then part ways..again. If they did meet up, he would be a bit of a wreck afterward. Inwardly of course, because our characters can't display emotions. IT IS FORBIDDEN. XD

....even if we don't get to RP, may I say that they met up? Or just saw each other in passing? Anything, your choice if its yes or no. Either way works for me. I think they want to see a little more of the inner thoughts of Tanto and this seems to be a good opportunity. If that messes with Liz though then we can scrap it. I'll figure out some other way to emotionally damage him.

LOL. xD I love you, Cat, I just want you to know that. <3 Also, I love Tantomus and Liz. Even if they're SO FREAKIN' RIDICULOUS.

No no, go ahead! > By all means, I think that the powers of the universe would probably have them meet up, don't you think? I know I always enjoy seeing more of Tanto's inner workings. It's just sad that they had such an effect on each other and are complete dunderheads about it, LOL.

x) I like his 'Separate ways' way of thinking about it, though. Liz has always remained friendly with the people she's been with, mostly because there were never really any real emotions to get in the way afterward-- and she's chock FULL of emotions about Tantomus, which is why she can't seem to figure out how to react.
And underneath all that OTHER stuff, she really IS dying to see Tantomus, which is scaring her most of all.
Y'know, plus she's trying to downplay their relationship to herself by convincing herself (to her own detriment) that he's probably moved on. (Talk about illogical, Spock!)

She's also super-guilty about making the choice to do what she did with the baby, and her decision not to tell Tantomus about it.

... Wouldn't it be so much easier if people just talked about things? xD
Maybe I'll get home tonight in time to jump on. I feel like it would just be too fun to RP this-- well, actually, what's NOT being said would probably fill volumes, while what IS being said incredibly little.

2. You can't kill Kirk, unless you're somehow in an alternate timeline or you plan on bringing him back at some point. A, because I say so, and B, because he has to be around for the next round, because you have to include him in every entry. x)
