Well, I dunno...Before I Sleep is so unknown that I don't think you can get it in any store other than a few in New York city. And the only reason you can get it in New York is because I am personally selling them to the stores.
The best way to get it is through ordering online. Maybe Before I Sleep will be availible across USA one day xD.

So how'd you get started in drawing comics?

I started 2 years ago. At first it was just kind of a hobby. I drew pages in class in order to show friends, and then from there the stories grew. I never actually attended on doing comics, but I'm starting to really like it. Mainly I like coming up with stories and such.

Nope certainly am not. I tried to get published but got rejected. In the future I hope to may just self publish with a few friends. All I have been able to do is print the first issue and sell them in order to get the name around.

Sometimes publishers want an outline or at least book one completed before they publish.
Don't know why they wouldn't be able to take your first issue though. Maybe they think that it won't have enough profitable gain unless sold in multiples....

I don't normally go into something unless I have researched all the information I can. A full synopsis is what they usually ask for. Otherwise they are fine with seeing maybe 5 to 10 pages of a piece of work fully completed. I think they just thought my work was too risky. It's about 5 volumes when, as of right now, the publishers are looking for one shots.
I'm fine with self publishing. That way I own my rights to my work.
