Oh wow! I've only owned 6. If there was a place to rescue ferrets around here I would.
All the rescue places that have ferrets make sure you live right in the city, or in the state.

In Ohio, there is a ferret rescue shelter, but you have to have proof you live in the state to get them.
In the center of NY state, there is a place, but you have to live within a 2-hour drive of the shelter.

idk why they are so weird with that. Driving a far way with ferrets would be fine I mean, they are hardy little beans.
I wish there was a more local shelter. I'd love to rescue my babies rather than getting babies all the time. (Though the babies are hecking adorable)

get a friend to let you 'temporarily'

change your address to theirs, once

you get a piece of mail with your name

an their address on it -- then go do it

it works. lol i have had friends use this

technique. shelters dont check in after you

leave soooo nbd.
