Well that's good! And I understand; I'd have done the same. I did see a few Roxas' but all the ones I got close enough to didn't look like you so I got too shy to talk to them. XD
And yeah. It was relatively boring in comparison to other years but I think that's because AWA isn't changing at all. Johnny Yong Bosch was probably the only thing new this year that I was interested in. But over-all, I still really enjoyed talking to the different people, cosplaying, and hanging out with my friends. ^^

But really, Mythos is almost just as well done as Roxas. And I love the other pictures you have of the trio. Especially the one taken at Momocon and of you sitting on the ledge. It's really a shame that you're not going to cosplay anymore. You really are terrific at it. But that's okay! You've got to do what you want! c:

Haha, thank you! Mostly all I do is make props and wigs and put the costumes on though X) I'm still a beginner at sewing so either a friend or a family member has played a large part in the costume making process so a lot of that praise goes to them!
And I dunno, maybe I will get back into it... looking back at all my pictures, it seems fun. It's just that cons have gotten to be a little bit... youngish? to me lately, (I'm still young, definitely, still a teenager) but there are an awful lot of screaming girls that didn't bother me before so that was a lot of the reason why I was going to retire, aha x) But if I just cosplay in my free time, just for the heck of it, maybe I'll keep up with it. Who knows

That's more than I can do. I've never had any props for my cosplays but as soon as I've moved I'm going to get started on my first cosplay that I'll be making and it will have props! My mom is going to teach me because I only have a basic knowledge of sewing.
And I understand that part! Fangirls who don't know how to control themselves or separate fiction from reality are, in my opinion, one of the worst parts of the anime fandom.

Props are so much fun to make! (once you get past the frustrating bits anyway haha) There are lots of different types of materials you can use and it gets a bit extensive. I've barely got my feet wet with most of it, but I think it's fun. It can be super confusing to first start out on prop making though, so if you have any questions I may be able to help.
Yeah, I agree that the crazy fangirls are one, if not the, worst part of the fandom. It just seems like some people at cons don't know how to control themselves @_@ or really how to respect others, at times. My friends and I have joked sometimes that there should be an 'older people' con, haha, just so we could be adults and talk about stuff instead of screaming and being inappropriate X) (but maybe that just makes me like an old lady. w/e haha)

I may just take you up on that offer! The first thing I'm going to try to make is going to be Eureka's sky board, and I'm making her necklace (collar? thing....) myself too. I'm making some pokeballs too, but they're not for cosplay (yet......). I'd explain what I was making them with, but I'll have to get back to you on that later because I'm in the middle of moving so everything's been put on hold.
That's a pretty good idea, but I wouldn't like it personally because I'm still only 17 but mature, intelligent, and respectful. (Not to be vain or anything. XD) So I know that they can be and it would really annoy me if I couldn't get in just because of my age. XD Though I can totally see where you're going with it. It's a pretty good idea if I wouldn't be so indignant about not getting in, myself. But nah! 20s isn't old!

Ok, so I did a quick bit of research about the collar, bc that thing does seem like it would be hard, and I've found an idea that seems like it would work. It may look weird, but some rubber tubing might do the trick if you paint it. I also read about someone using magnets to close it around their neck too (I thought that sounded like a good idea). I'm sure there are other ways of making the collar but this is just one I thought might work
For the ref board, there are a lot of ways you can make it. If you have access to a wood shop you could always make it out of wood, but I know that its pretty hard to get your hands on a lot of the tools necessary for that so I have a couple other ideas as well
The last way I can think about right now, without getting into fields I don't have much or any experience in, would be foam board. You can buy it at most any hobby or craft store (Walmart's probably got it too). Its just foam sandwiched between two pieces of paper but it can be pretty durable. You'd have to find a way of gluing some sheets together long ways so it would be long enough for you to cut a board out of though. (you would cut out the foam board shape with exacto knives, btw.) Maybe you could give it some stability by sticking in some wood supports? Like thin wooden dowels? I dont know, I've never done it before :/ Maybe if you just used Gorrilla glue it would hold? Idk, I'm sure there's a way.
Oh and, if you want to make the ref board thicker than one sheet of foam board, you would have to cut each sheet separately before gluing them together, so it won't be too thick to cut through.

The rubber thing sounds interesting, but I was thinking more the magnets. I have some of the harder foam core stuff; the circular ones. I cut it to fit around my neck but still fit into a circle and I was at the point where I was going to buy some really strong magnets (maybe those earth magnets) and cut a little indention out for them. I was going to cover them in enough glue to keep them in there but not enough so that they wouldn't connect.
And The same kind of thing for the board. I was thinking of sandwiching a piece of foam between thick poster board and then painting it. The wooden dowels are a good idea though. I could use them at the sides or corners to hold it together a little better.
And it wasn't confusing at all!

Yeah, coscom (shortened version of cosplay.com) is not very user friendly. I'm still getting used to it. But if you make an account, you can do some detailed searching in the forums and that does tend to help a lot. For some reason, if you want to search the pictures up at the top of the screen, you have to put a + in front of every word. It's kind of dumb but it affects the results.

Dominic turned out to be one of my favorite characters as well. He was so sweet to Anemone. If they don't have figurines of him they should.

I think they do. I'd be surprised if they didn't. But that kind of makes sense. I watched the first half of the series with my friend, so it was a lot more bearable to get through than if I had been watching it alone. The first episodes probably threw people off before it managed to get really good.
