That model looks like a studio miniature. If you decide to sell The Endeavor as a kit count me in.

Chris, I am amazed at your Endeavor model, it's been a lifelong dream of mine to see that ship made real, and you're the only person thats ever done it.....and it looks incredible. I can't wait to see more of your work, i'm eagerly anticipating what will come next! I sent you off a note a bit earlier hoping you can hook a brother up with one of these Endeavors, and man would i love to get one to Michael Golden at the San Diego Con next month for you, i know he'd absolutely love one! Please get back to me with a price if its at all possible, i desperately want one for my collection! Curious about the scale, how big? and can they be produced a bit larger, in the 6 to 8 inch range!

Hi Dusty
I have replied to your note,
The size of my model is 120mm front to back, its the perfect size to fit on my shelf. Also the cost of a bigger one was a bit prohibitive as the hi definition SLA process isn't cheap.
I have thought about breaking the 3d model down into a kit of about 30 components that could be resin cast, however I dont know what the demand would be and I dont know any one the would cast them.
I have played around with this before for modeling puposes - the last project was a 1/144 scale model of the deep sea submesible Alvin II taken from some of the artist impressions and a few design changes of my own. It would be interesting to see what the real one turns out like when they eventually build it.
Cheers
Chris
