I went ahead and looked up the past conversation you're referring to. Unless you somehow completely forgot, I'm pretty sure you asked me this question and I already gave you my answer.

Since it seems apparent that I have to reiterate myself for you, here's a shortened version of what I said last time:

Romance has no place in MLP, there's no need for it. This does not mean that I do not enjoy romance or romantic things. I find disturbing that you're making this unfounded correlation between the fact that I think a cartoon geared towards young girls is better off, for once, not focusing on romance and that, because I think this, I must not like romance at all.

I love romantic things, I just don't find it appealing in congruence with a kids show about ponies. 

Does that ring a bell honey? Or do I need to spell it out further for you?

Look, the thing is every time people does not want romance in MLP or people who are annoyed by the romance as a sub-plot for shows such as Sword Art Online and Eden of the East (even though they're both different from MLP in terms of demographic), it makes me think that they hate it or people think that the Romance genre is stereotypical.

As much as I think that all MLP ships are not canon (Except Cadance and Shining Armor), I think that ships had its own fanfiction and fanart and people didn't complain about it, since they are not canon to the MLP universe. Although some ships like Fluttermac and Flashlight made some people upset because of being nonsense or popular or sudden.

Also, did you have a problem if Shining Armor and Princess Cadance have been MARRIED since the Season 2 finale?

I am not trying to make you mad. I just don't like people who hate romance.

Hell, even Young Justice and Green Lantern did romance and there was no controversy whatsoever because it was done right, the female characters weren't cliched and it has a different demographic than MLP. Same thing for Adventure Time and Regular Show.

I am in no way defending what this disney guy has said, because from what I understand its been pretty rough. My issue with the whole thing is how everyone else is stooping to this guy's same level.

I saw more then one comment in that thread cheer him on for him to kill himself. That's just gross.

Its possible it that slew of comments I commented on the wrong person. If that is the case, I appoligize.

Regardless, this behavior is unacceptable and is really unbecoming of a group of people supposedly trying to fight against similar actions.
