I don't see the point in responding to someone favoriting your artwork. They like what you did. If they wanted further interaction they would say as such.

It is part of the protocol here to appreciate those who favorite. If no further interaction is wanted, then the person who marked the image as favorite does not need to reply. It's also just considered polite here.

"Here" is no different than anywhere else: One can do as they desire - especially so long as they are willing to face the consequences thereof.
Not everyone who I have favorited the artwork of or added to my watch list has left a comment regarding such on my profile. It boils down to personal preference. I have done my best to present you with my view in a rational and polite manner and you have come at me with your personal desires masked behind claims of it being "the norm."
Even if it is that is irrelevant. The fact remains I can do such any way I desire. Same as you can, same as anyone else can. So why get upset that I was merely attempting to get you to look at it differently? I was quite pleased to have had no response from you for such a long time. I thought you had realized to simply drop the matter since you're apparently allowing your irrationality to effect your judgment.
I find you rude for attempting to establish your views as absolute truth. Not only do you not have valid evidence to back up your claims but it's the kind of subject which is ultimately irrelevant as it relies entirely on personal preference. So I will now ask you to leave my page on the grounds that I am now feeling harassed by you.

I would figure that, in most realities, they're the obvious predecessors to the techno-organic 'formers. One can posit how, once the Micromasters came about, they would naturally begin combining those technologies in order to utilize non-mechanical organic-based alternate forms. Which only makes perfect sense since our species ended up being based around blending in with indigenous species of a planet.
Initially, of course, our alternate forms were merely to enhance our prowess. I'm glad to be from a universe where we no longer have to hide, though some of us have developed such alternate forms as they are part of special forces based around exploring other planets which are not aware of the rest of the universe yet.
In the end it's all about what works best for your intent and progressing forward. The same is also true about one's self. Self improvement is always a worthy endeavor.
