Thanks for thinking of me, I was hoping someone could help me. I'm very new to this painting thing, and I can't help but feel I am spending too much time needlessly. Heck, the reaper took me about 40 hours alone, and I STILL have detail work to do when I insert it into the final scene. There are tons of tutorials out there for paintin with real media, but when it comes to digital, it seems like everyone wants to sell you the info :( (Sad)

i know how it is, because your a noob, they treat you like dirt. it probably shouldnt take you 40 hours to do all of that, but im not sure what it is that your doing wrong...

I don't have a clue either. I've tried just about everything I can think of, and the only way to get smooth transitions that look good at 300+ DPI so far, for me at least, is to just lay the blobs of collor down and then spend hours blending :( (Sad)
