Did you get your MonkeyJam problem sorted out?
I think you asked for an example of something I have animated with MonkeyJam.

In that clip the close up of the face and the "rainbow effect" is animated in MonkeyJam. Going in and out of the wormhole is animated with Web Cartoon Maker and the rest with Open Toonz.

I didn't end up fixing it in the end... but I still had the images elsewhere on my computer, and could still view the timestamps on MonkeyJam.Β
I'm currently in the process of converting the frame durations into seconds (so I can use the same images in microsoft photo viewer's video function; the thing that replaces windows movie maker). It's annoying having to do this, but way less stressful than I thought.
Also, seemingly it exports in MP4... so... two birds, one stone?Β It seems to work, I even managed to export a short video to youtube (not what I was trying to animate, but proof of concept).
I was curious how someone would use MonkeyJam for longer projects, but I guess this answers my question... it's best used for short clips/individual scenes perhaps?Β Β Β

Yes I use MJ where I have a couple of complete frames that I am shifting between, since it is simple to use. When I have anything more complicated I use other tools.

If you consider moving on to a bit more complicated animation I still would suggest that you take a look at Open Toonz.
