No problem. I still can't decide if I like Yusei or Yusaku more, but before Yusaku, Yusei always won by a landslide. I'm tempted to declare those two a tie, they're both the most badass of badasses in Yugioh.

No problem. I just got into Voltron 2 weeks ago. I've already watched the entire 2 seasons, read at least 20 fanfics, and decided on my favorite ships: Shullera, Shlance, Klance, Sheith, Shiro/Keith/Lance (can't remember that ship name), gen Lance and Pidge (Big Brother Lance is awesome), gen Lance and Hunk (bros for life), gen Hunk and Pidge (Big Brother Hunk is awesome too - basically any Paladin being a big brother to Pidge is awesome)... Crazy Uncle Coran is great, Team Voltron as a family is needed like air, I don't know how I survived without it for so long. When I get into a new fandom, I devour it and assimilate it into my lifeblood, and I never, ever abandon a fandom. I'm still a proud fan of Pokemon 20 years running. Voltron is my newest addition to my insanity. xDDDD

...It's kinda funny how eclectic my collection of fandoms is. Pokemon is insanely light-hearted, but I'm just as loyal to Attack on Titan as Pokemon and the two couldn't be more opposite.

Yup. Oh, and I have plans for my 5D's story, "Pain of an Angel". Several new ideas added and old ones tweaked to be better just today thanks to some very helpful fellow otakus on the SpaceBattles Forums. It's gonna be awesome. I already have a sequel (split into two companion stories) and a prequel being woven by the plot bunnies as the muses sing. Plus, I had planned a series of one-shot side stories to go with the main story down the line awhile ago. I think I've found my groove.

...Maybe you could draw a cover page for my story? (Yusei with transparent, barely-seen angel wings sitting on top of a junk pile in the Satellite is what I'm envisioning. His wings aren't visible to those without True Sight - yet.) I haven't found someone to draw that cover page yet...

 I'm doing very well! I'm in the process of looking for volunteer work to build up a resume for a paying job. And my counselor (for the depression and shit my "father" caused) is willing to let me not make a scheduled appt with him since I'm doing so well, my case might wind up closed soon. Life is FINALLY going my way! *victory dance*

Me too. I'm actually off my anti-depressants. I've been off them for 6 months now which is the biggest reason why he's letting just call in for an appt if I need one. Apparently, if you're off meds for 6 months (with a doctor approving it) and don't relapse, you're considering mentally healthy since the issues that caused depression have obviously been resolved. It's actually been a long-time goal of mine to not need any help from the mental health industry (ever since I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at 11, in fact), so this is a life-long goal finally achieved. I am very proud of that fact. I was realistic and knew that there was a bigger chance of me never reaching this goal that there was of me succeeding, but I didn't let that stop or discourage me. I honestly think being realistic about it, but trekking on anyway regardless is what allowed me to succeed: I never see roadblocks, I see hurdles to overcome.

LOL, I've met lots of people online who are Aspies. Apparently we seem to gravitate to places like dA and FFNet.

Though I have my younger brother and my cousin (who's just 20 days older than me and more like another brother) to thank for making sure I built some social skills as a young kid so I could learn them easier in social skills classes later. They were both very street-smart even in elementary school and made a point to include me in their explorations of the woods behind my grandmother's house. (Yes, I know that's cliche, but it's 100% true in my case - my grandmother's backyard opened up into some woods. Go figure.) I was always very studious, even back then, and nearly always had my nose stuck in a book unless Ben (my cousin) and Joshua (my brother) dragged me out. However, they made a point to include me in ways I would enjoy - Ben is diabetic and needed to eat at regular intervals, so they relied on my knowledge to find berries and the like that were safe to eat while we played. Ben and I were 7-8 years old back then (Joshua was 5-6), but we were much better prepared and mature than kids twice our age at the time looking back. The three of us were a team, each of us had our own strengths that covered for the others' weaknesses, and it's mind-boggling looking back and seeing just how well we worked together. Even back then, Ben showed signs of being the awesome EMT he is today in how he was able to treat cuts and scrapes Joshua got from climbing too high to get a snack from a fruit-bearing tree using the medicinal plants I identified. Honestly, I think the three of us could have lived in the wild with no issue so long as we had each other - Ben for the first-aid, me for the knowledge, and Joshua a.k.a. "Monkey Boy" (his nickname as a kid) for the foraging.

Yeah. I'm very lucky to have had Ben and Joshua growing up. Joshua, despite being younger, always took the role of an older brother and protector. I have a memory from when I was 4 years old (Joshua was 2): We were in daycare together and someone stole my Oreos at snacktime. I was crying until Joshua came over and gave me his Oreos. Two years old, and more than willing to share and look after his sister. He's still a sweetheart today, only the skills he's gained from beating up bullies who tried to beat me up as a kid (and again, they were all at least 2 years older than him at the time) has turned him into a "knight in shining armor" type. He's actually personally saved a woman who would have been raped by disabling her attacker long enough for her to get away. The bastard ran off when he realized he was outclassed, but Joshua made sure the woman went into a nearby restaurant to call for help, so he didn't get far. All Joshua got from that fight was a bloody nose - the other guy needed several stitches and a splint on his wrist from what I heard. And Joshua never formally learned fighting - he's just a natural protector. It's unfortunate that he's dependent on certain medicines because he's easily malnourished from an insanely high metabolism since he'd be an awesome police or military officer - definitely has the right natural instincts and skills for one.
