He had described to me that satanism was the worship of the human condition, the yin and yang, that the dark in man wasn't something to be condemned but explored, understood and cherished.

It isn't all pig's blood and virgin sacrifices but an understanding that we are in control of our actions and no amount of prayer omnipotent god can help you.

Is that anywhere never veracity? He's a foreign exchange student as the most prestigious liberal arts college in the Midwest (Grinnell), so I trusted his rantings on the misconceived notions satanism has.

Fascinating. A prestigious satanist. It all sounds so ludicrous. I have nothing against no groups or believers. I mean, hey, to each his own. But that IS something else. I somehow feel those words though. That we should embrace the evil in us, and not let normal everyday humans thrill-seek by being horrible to others just for the sheer taboo of it. I have the gist of the idea, but it sounds very interesting.
