I will indeed, probably for 2 days or at least 1 and a half! I'm really looking forward to cosplaying her now. I'll also be making a return as Brief and bringing along Byakuya Togami from Danganronpa. I might go to the party as Togami as I've never been to it before and decided I should go once to see what it's like.

shes so crazy and out there most of the time, and im rather shy and quiet so I just wouldnt do her any justice xD

Thank you, Brief was the first in a while that I'd really been happy with.
That's not a bad thing, I've never been all that social myself, but I promised myself that this year I'd make an effort to try to make a few more friends. That's not really come to much so far, but I am proud to have made a few new connections and it's looking likely there'll be a Danganronpa meet one of the days so that will help too ^_^
I've actually re-arranged my room so I have more space for merch now and I wanna get a desktop computer some point soon. I've had this laptop for 6 years!
I love seeing others cosplay and I used to ask for pictures, but I haven't really got round to it all that much again.Β
Friday is my favourite day cause I can get a proper look round and relax. Saturday I go to meet ups and spend little time in the dealers halls, and Sunday I'm rushing around trying to get all my shopping done.
I never have the energy to go home on Sunday and I like to see the end of the show, but waking up on the Monday is so depressing, knowing it's all over and you're the only one still there!
Sorry to hear you had a rough time, the crowds can be so overwhelming. Hope all goes well for you this time round.
Yeah, the one that detect presence of N.O. If I can find something to work with. Maybe craft foam, then some sort of plastic hardener and acrylic paint. I'll figure something out.
I really hope I do her justice, she is a character with so much character, I owe it to her to do a good job, and I will try my best to do so. I've put so much work into trying to make it look right. The guitar could have come out a little better but I am still mostly happy with it. Was thinking about changing the goggles for clear plastic too if i have time. It's just a plastic sheet that pops in and out, so I'd just need to draw round it if I could source the right material.
The soundtrack worked with everything so well, I managed to pick up the OST3 in May actually. Naota's narration over the soundtrack and landscape scenes was perfect.
Really excited now. If it goes ahead and turns out well, it would be just so amazing
It has so much potential.Β It could bring a whole new wave of fans, and I'd love to see a few more FLCL cosplayers, something the world seems distinctly lacking in. More-so, with the considerable popularity of the series.

Im the same, when I first started going to expo Id always ask for pictures but now it gets so crowded I cant seem to grab my camera.
friday is my only day now because of what happened to me one saturday a year ago.Β
I think it was october 2014 when I had the panic attacks. It was nuts o-o;
I used a craft foam with a hot knife I got on amazon to create my first version on my Monado sword.
It was nice and easy to use, It just smelt abit funny when it got burnt on the hot knife.Β

Id most likely cosplay Haruko or Naota if I was gonna cosplay something from flcl. I adore how sweet an innocent nao is <3 gahh! ^_^

Thanks so much. I got caught in the rain on Saturday in may and the ink ran on the foam shapes, so i need to fix that properly, but it's an easy fix.
I actually got to play smash at Birmingham expo in March, and got caught in Nintendolife's video of the event! There's usually always a Nintendo meet.
I'm co-hosting the meet now so I'm gonna try to promote that, there's always a fair few Danganronpa cosplayers, so try to make them aware of the event going on.
The fringe page has only had a couple of waves of events added, but Granny Gertrude will update that as he did regularly in may.
Yes! Gonna keep a good eye out, and actively purchase stuff on the Friday. I don't like spending most of my money at the start of the event but last time i made that mistake the stuff I wanted had sold out.
I'm gonna take everything slow on friday, i get way to into things and can literally be seen sprinting across the dealers hall, selfie stick in hand.

Craft foam is so good to work with and can make amazing stuff but i'm buggered if i have the room to make props that big. It's the route i would have taken with Haruko's guitar if I hadn't asked for advice and been suggested to use a guitar hero controller as a prop, which had the added bonus of coming in two, something I wanted before I even made that decision.
I could try, but I've not really looked into it. Not sure how I'd go about it. If my old ipod still works, i could rip the music onto there and hook that up to it. Maybe.
Naota with his cap and baseball bat would be nice to do. Or his kitty ears =^_^=
I can also imagine having way, way too much fun as Amarao, though if I did that, all seriousness would go out the window. I'm probably not the best person to cosplay him.
I'm very hopeful that it will, and I think it's very likely that it will
