Pretty okay. It's simultaneously really different and almost the same as being at home. Like i'll get in a groove of classes and life, and then the next second someone will say something in Japanese and it throws me off completely. So weird.
I miss home though. I'm glad I came, but I'm such a homebody and I don't like being so far from family & friends & boyfriend.

Aw, I believe it. But man! I remember we would talk about trips to Japan while we were in high school. :3 I'm glad you're finally able to actually be there - and who knows? Maybe in a year or two or three or whatever, I'll finally make it over there too. XD I have a friend who used to be an english teacher, and she's really wanting to hook me up with a job there too.
I totally relate to the feelings of being so utterly separated from home, though. My time in Croatia taught me enough of that. ^_^; In the end, I still think it's totally worth it, for the sake of the experience as much as anything else.

well this was fun. i like this place! i just joined and i already have a bunch of artwork up! it's nice not having to wait. i tried to join the elfwood gallery, waited 2 weeks for them to moderate my ticket, and found out that it had been rejected because there was a little black edge at the top of one of my pix.....grrrr. angry. but then one of my friends suggested i try here and i was all excited....and then i couldn't figure out how to join for free....and i was sad. and then someone pointed out to me that the join-up-link-thingy was right in front of my little nosie the whole time. if you can't tell by now, i am computer illiterate. and also navigationally challenged, but that doesn't matter.
anyhoodlyhoo, i have been drawing for forever, and i can finally put my art up online since i got a printer/scanner for my sweet 16! (no little red sports cars for me: i get my dad's old station wagon. it smells like mildew and stale french fries...)
