If you type for example : iconxd--plz : (remove the spaces) you get

If you put your mouse over the icon, you see a name, so in this case, if you put you mouse arrow over that icon I've just made, you get "xd--plz" so all you have to do is add the word "icon" in front of it and surround the phrase with colons.

Those are based on something called "plz" accounts, because people don't want to use up available usernames on dA, so if they add the word "plz" to the end of the word, it won't infringe on another person's ability to make a username on dA.

Also, let's say you want to do this with a person's account.
: iconAIRHEAD-Almighty : -->
If you don't want an icon, but still want to link to that person's dA page, : devAIRHEAD-Almighty : --> ~AIRHEAD-Almighty .

One more thing...if you want to make another kind of link that looks like this for example ---> AIRHEAD's Youtube page instead of just looking like this ---> [link]

All you do is paste the big "h t t p : / / linknameblahblah" (remove the spaces) and then after that big long link, put something in parentheses after it, and the words in the parentheses become the name of the hyperlink that people see as they click on it.

h t t p : / / big long link (AIRHEAD's Youtube page) --> AIRHEAD's Youtube page

This was probably much more than you asked for, but you might find it useful later on
