Pessimistic Optimist – love the name, how do you define it?

I have used it to describe assuming the worst, but being happy when things don’t go as badly as they could have. (Which is most times.) When they do go as bad, you can just shrug your shoulders and say, “I knew that was doing to happen…”. A kind of reverse optimism.
