im going to university this winter and im kinda scared T_T i dont want to go in the art history program because i HATE contemporary art and im scared to take random courses... and i just dunno what to do in the near future ( like, what job I'd like to have and study for.. ) and out of the blue i want to take italian course o.o well not out of the blue, because I've been playing Assassins creed 2 for over 2 month or something x_x... GWAH, so many options, so little time, so little money T_T i feel like my head's gonna burst... what about you, how do feel about university and whatever else ?

Oh wow! =O I'm starting University in September, and I'm definitely somewhat intimidated by the challenge too. It's really hard with the pressure of the rest of your life's career focused on one's schooling! xD! I keep in mind though that there's always the option to switch programs if I hate what I'm doing. Oh wow! O: I love AC 2 though!! ^^ Aww, the stress really sucks!! D: I'm sorry that it's that hard for you right now!

I'm starting university for Engineering this fall. Engineering was sort of a spontaneous choice for me. Not many woman are in it, but I'm hoping this won't ever become an issue. I suppose I could've done art or science or math stuff, but I thought I though Engineering was my best option based on my academics, and it does incorporate things like creativity, which I'd prefer to keep a hobby anyway. I guess I'm nervous, but I'm really set on working hard and getting through my ridiculous course load first semester.

Why would it become an issue ? Maybe some dick head would mind but I pretty sure mostly everyone will be okay with it XD otherwise they're retarded. really XD! You shouldn't worry with that I think And I'm pretty sure you'll do well too I just hope you'll love engineering !!
how many courses will you have a week? I heard people usually have like...5 courses a week but that just one course is a lot of work to begin with x_x University sounds like crazy to me T.T! But i should stop talking about it this way in case I frighten you or something XD
and i know I can always switch to another program if I don't like... but I'm just scared of getting old and realising I've wasted my time.... and well university is a lot of money and I don't want to end up having a huge debt x_x and well I might be scared for nothing because it's a fantastic place and I'll love it. Engineering as in... making ANYTHING. Buildings. Computer software. Electronics. Petroleum manufacturing. Environmental protection. Makeup. Nuclear physics. Bridges. Robotics for factories. Prostheses for people who've lost limbs. Airplanes and space ships. It's like, LITERALLY anything you want to do / invent / work around! Obviously you don't do ALL that, but you choose sort of one thing, like software of electronics. Yeah, shouldn't be a problem, but like 80 - 90 % of the people going to University in engineering are male. O_o But the numbers are evening out more these days, so maybe I'm exaggerating. ^^ Okay, I won't! thanks, I really hope I do well and enjoy it too!!

Haha... everything academic is a lot of work to do well!! Q_Q I have a HIDEOUS schedule... FIVE classes, THREE labs, and ONE seminar!!! I'm at the university from 8:30 AM till 4:20 PM three days of the week. O_O Haha don't worry... I'm in for a challenge, but it's not taking me off guard... I hope! *gulp!

Aww, yeah, I'm always worried about that, too! I really want to pass schooling and just get on with my life! =O Ugh yeah, it's so unfair how bad tuition is these days. It's kinda cruel, really! Hahaha, yeah, it sucks to get your expectations bashed in, but don't look at it with too much doom-and-gloom! ^^ You'll probably meet lots of great people! I came from a high school with about 180 people who graduated with me, and I have few close friends that share my interests, so I'm hoping to meet some cool people this upcoming year!

Anyway... don't really have much more to mention about engineering. It's a tough program - my university won't let me into it unless you have an average of like 80% + in required classes. You need Physics 30, Chem 30, Bio 30, and some require Calculus too, but some only need other lower maths. Not sure how your schools do class labellings though. ^^ I know if you won't have one of those courses, they offer them at university too, I think! =O
The results are great - you can do a lot of things, apparently lots of people like to hire engineers. And apparently their prestigious, like being a lawyer or a doctor. And they make tons of $$ right out of university almost! So it's pretty cool sounding! You have to pass official tests in your country to be allowed to do engineering so you don't like kill people with say a faulty bridge.

holy shit there's so much you can do x_x but i dont have the grades i think XD and no, we dont have the same uh labels for maths, chem and physics. when i was in highschool the lowest level in math/physic was 416 and the higher was 436 ( and the ultimate was 446, though t'was rare ) and well, for chem you needed to be at least at level 436 or 446 to have it ._.
and well the 4 stands for hm fourth grade in highschool ( we have 5 ).. dunno if my explanation is clear enough but heh, anyway XD you just need to know that I was in the lowest levels. but I might try my luck(?) and take a higher math course ( since I'll have nothing to do this semester besides english class. ) but engineering sounds like fun but to difficult for my small brain I hope you'll take picture of what you'll invent and post them !!! and yes your schedule seems horrible but you'll be rich when you get the job so XD.... it's worth it no ? and if you love engineering then why not suffer through it XD damn thats so cool, engineering does sound prestigious. Ugh i wanna be awesome too someday! D:

Yeah it's kinda crazy. x_x Not that many options near home though, so I'll see. And some take many years of study too! Yeah grades are killer. ._. Oh I see! That sounds complicated. Yeah, might be worth it - math is really important to so many different jobs and studies!
Haha aww that's too bad! Hahah okay okay I will! !! I'm sure it'll be something really lame if I do like some biodegradable paper plate or something.

My parents are my personal catering service to university haha! I'm actually excited about the New Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood coming out soon, but I can't even imagine when I'll ever get to play it. >_< I went on a trip to the mountains during the summer, but that was the extent of my travels! Mostly, life is just consumed by school right now. Not even funny. Midterms start mid October til the first day of November. @_@ But sorry, enough of school!!! How about you??

I still have that dillema about my future ( do i stai in college, do i go to university, what will i study and bla bla bla ) this has been my routine for sometime now XD meh, it would be fun if we could live hindreds of years and stay young.
