hey! my high school's choir and the other high school in our district's choir had a combined concert with The Bobs, an a cappella group (they're actually pretty funny and did some interesting songs, i think you'd really like them if you don't already know them)
in any case, they had a song called "Tom Speth is a Giant Bagel" and Amy, who sang lead vocals for that song (and also wrote it) explained how it was an inside joke about a guy she knew in California. so after the show i saw her in the hallway and asked her if Tom Speth was related to a girl named Bonnie Speth. She didn't know, but a) someone who may be related to you has a song about them being a giant bagel and b) now Amy Bob has heard of you. that is all.

Oh, wow. I had no idea about that. Well, I've never heard of Tom Speth, but the fact that he lives in California makes me rather interested now as to who he is and what relation he has to me. Well, thanks for telling me about that! ("Tom Speth is a Giant Bagel" is a beautiful name for a song in the first place, too.
