No worries! I am just in love with your stuff right now and I can't wait to see more. I saw someone had posted an Isabela and Hawke you did recently and I was just blown away. So fluid and the coloring style is just _great_ I can't wait to see more from you.

I didn't choose a prompt from their list since I knew coming in exactly what I wanted to write about. My story focuses on Anders' seventh escape attempt, but told from Finn's perspective. It's as much a story about the development of their friendship as it is about the trouble Anders gets himself into.

Thanks! I'm glad that you enjoy them. Honestly I never finished all of Utena because at the time I was watching it they hadn't put out all of the original DVDs so I'm not well versed in the series. I do recall the movie being really pretty... Is it worth sitting down and giving a watch? I think I remember reading that it was re-released recently.

I think Utena's pretty compelling--its play with tropes; its surrealism; the music; the tragicomedy; the open-endedness. It's also generated some pretty beautiful fanfiction, which for me is a measure of the quality of the original.

Some elements are disturbing (sister-brother and adult/underage relationships, for example), but they're meant to be so.

I'm more of a fan of the anime than the movie (which was indeed beautifully rendered, but put the storyline in a blender and added some hallucogens for effect).

I'm glad that you had a great trip to see your family! I'll probably go to the Saturday session starting the first week in July. I'm enjoying the shorter pose sessions a lot more than the long ones and it gets progressively longer each week. I think the next Monday and Saturday are both 3 hours sessions at Artnot.
