On like my eleventh viewing of K-ON! xD

And thb when I read them I was sort of bewildered when I remembered they were fanfic and not something written by kakifly. That's how well they fit with K-ON! and how believable the whole thing was.

Some people would have had Yui being a lot more mature. Too bad there's no way to imagine a serious Yui, and no matter how hard I try to picture Ui finally getting tired of watching over Yui I can't picture it for long. xD It would probably be the one case in all eternity where someone would actually go to the ends of the earth, throwing away their whole lives just to make sure their sister was safe and happy.

Also I read the Omake one too. XD oh god were those ever funny!

Now I need to go wallow in my own despair because whenever I read/watch K-ON! I'm reminded of how much of a lazy fart I am and how the last four years are sort of a hazy fog. (Actually, pretty much any point in time not the present or twelve hours previous is sort of a hazy fog...)

And because I can space out thinking up fanfics of K-ON! of my own so well that I'm always dissapointed when I come back to reality. xD I would kill to live in the K-ON! world, that's how hopeless I am. >.< ...o-okay, maybe because my little ego is always busy picturing Mugi with me... But only a little! I swear it! oAo (What, her spaced out face would be awesome to be able to look at. :3 And the weird ways in which she gets flustered is too cute :3)

<--- is so much of a K-ON! fan that it's the top reason for the age-old 'I wish I was the opposite gender...' argument. (The difficulty of figuring out how to imagine how in the hell I- a male- got into the school is another reason. XD probably the most believable one was using Japan's shrinking birth rates as grounds for widespread school closures, ergo when I went on an exchange program the only one happened to be Sakura High... I'm so worried of freaking Mio out to just make me being there perfectly logical I luff them so much I don't want to be creepy...)

Glad you liked 'em! Judging by the K-ON section at fanfiction.net, you're far from the only one with fantasies of attending Sakuragaoka... male self-insert stories are the second most common thing there, after yuri. (I've got a parody of those on the back burner, in fact.) Third most common thing? Weird horror stories. Go figure.

It's definitely hard to picture a serious Yui. I was sort of pushing it even with her curiosity about bars in "Indigo". In canon, she and Azusa would probably play the opposite roles, with Yui the slightly boring, board-games-in-the-hotel-room type. But since they're five years older in my story and people's tastes change when they grow up, I decided to flip it around.

I completely understand the "hazy fog" thing. K-ON is definitely a series that encourages obsession.

Alls I know is that me being who I am, I can see myself with Mio or Mugi. Mio would be probably a little easier to get closer to, because we're both wimps. XD (And for whatever reason I feel like trying to get other people back to being happy. Mio freaks on a regular basis. Works out great ) But Mugi... Mugi could be awkward starting off, especially if we make the assumption that her parents don't totally approve of being a band member for a profession. (But I think I could convince them otherwise. THB I was throwing that scenario around on the bus to school today. Cultural differences aside I'm confident I could at least put the notion that Mugi's attraction to the musical life is best for her. She walked into a hardware store for the first time and was the happiest person on Earth. She joined the Light Music Club because Ritsu and Mio were bickering, and she thought it was funny. I think any decent parent would take a good look with that in mind and decide that it is best. :3 Training as a mediator, my life story. -______- Not so much training as I'm sort of the only person who gives a damn when friends or parents start fighting each other. Not the prettiest way to become a mediator, but first-hand experience beats classroom theory any day of the week.)

Ritsu on the other hand would be tricky as hell. Especially if we go with your FF'd Ritsu, who goes through boyfriends like they're going out of style. (Actually it could be 50/50 there. I sort of took it as she had the hard time getting past second base, so it could work.) But I'd concede Ritsu to *oceanchan because Oshi likes her the most~

Azunyan could pose issues. I'd look like so much of a pedo. On the other hand, we both complain about our height (FFFF five seven. Then again I'm not my sister, who is twelve and barely four feet. I got lucky. She got my grandmother's genes, and she's four... eight... maybe...) And what weeaboo doesn't love twintails? On the third hand (wait what) I'm quite lazy. And I think one Yui is enough for her. XD Then again if it was Azunyan I'd take it seriously...

Yui? Hell, who knows. I mean I can deal with her personality, easy. (hey look, the FIRST good thing about having a younger sister...) But for some reason I have a creeping suspicion that Ui would be the speedbump. I don't know why, but when I think of any attempt, Ui is off in the corner with an evil eye. oAo (That and the fact that Ui would no doubt get jelly... and Ui essentially controls Yui. XD) How ironic, the one you'd think to be the easiest one to get to know would probably turn out to be a great challenge.



Yui would be the board-games-in-the-hotel-room type? I would have thought her more the type that would vanish when you turned you back. The type of vanishing act that means they're going to wander around aimlessly downtown. xD (Then again without food she's a blob )

I obsessed over it for the music and characters at first, but after S1EP9 I loved it for the OMG WHY I CRAI SO MUCH awesomeness. (And again S2EP7 with Pure Pure and S2EP24 with Tenshi ni Fureta yo!)


Anywho, the one issue with K-ON! is that after you finish the manga and fanfictions... You want more. It's horribly addicting. yes, the claims that if it kept going on for too long it wouldn't retain its original appeal are valid and all, but I can never quite accept that it's over. Looking at two huge drawers of nothing but Star Wars Extended Universe books, I can start to guess where that came from. As well, it also stems from my own refusal to sit down and stop adding more and more content to Project One Man War Saga. It was originally just from 1993 to 2014, but it derailed from the main story up until just after the events of K-Core: Sins of Humanity (~2864) and came back first in 3014 revolving about a planet the GDA Remembrance Fleet didn't utterly squash, and then later in 4014 with the revival of the United Universal Government. And, as of yesterday, potentially somewhere in the 8000's range with Pure Hybrid: [Dark Anarchy] which is my attempt to put the brakes on the forward development. (I've got something in the 5000's somewhere too...)

Finally, it probably also stems from my inability to leave things unexplained for long. As I wrote Project One Man War Saga I discovered some huge mysteries in the plot (most of them ones few people would notice without seriously considering things) and ever since I've been writing and revising the theories behind these mysteries- because some of them are stories unto themselves. (The one thing that makes all this moot is the sheer fact that I don't actually end up writing/typing most of this crap up. All of three first draft chapters of Project One Man War Saga's revised first section- Project One Man War, lol- have even existed outside my noggin'. And I've come to realize the bulk of the confusion of people who I get to look over what I do have written comes from the abysmal lack of information, which is also mostly in my own head even though I try to write it out when I can. (The first Shipbuilding Guide, BA SSBP-1, was a very bad attempt to explain how Aerospace Combat Vessels were designed and how they worked. It turned into a ninety-some-odd page monster. Then I made SSBP-2, which is about nine pages, but lack a lot of information I think should be in there. SSBP-3 is in the works but it's going slow >.<)
