The idea initially was so that I could chat with the artists of the Who and Torchwood art work easier as often I see the work and I can't contact them to find out more as I'm not a member.  I'll maybe pass on the group thing for now as we have FB and Twitter. I'll may be just not for now.  Haven't dismissed the idea fully - just on hold I think.

That's the sort of thing that got me into deviantArt. That and trying to explore the social networking concept in general.

A group would also be a good way to collect some of the Whovian artwork, another place for people to submit their fanfics and such, but to each their own.
And if you're not sure you want to set one up after having been here for one day, well.... There's certainly no problem leaving the idea "on hold" and deciding later.

It's like all things new, you just want to have a crack at it, if it works it works if not, well least we tried!  I think it should be good, just need to do the tutorials and hope something of it sinks in.  How are things with you, how's the writing coming along?

Yup, and like they say, you'll never know if you don't try.

How it's going with me.... So-so.
The writing would probably be going a lot better if I could stick with one story for very long. Shame on me and my attention-deficit muse.
I switched gears recently to... attempt to flesh out a crossover idea I had (that'd be Spies of Cybus featuring the Tenth Doctor and Spies of Warsaw's Jean-Francois Mercier) and then again to explore a dream I had about a month ago. You might notice, plot-wise, I've only just begun them. Plus I obviously need to put a lot more work in the stuff that doesn't need the Faction Paradox treatment to be legally publishable.
Beyond that, I need another job. Lousy economy. Being an independent contractor doesn't contribute much to the student loan as it is, and I'd actually be done with the job if I could figure out this issue with the PHP.
