I’ve been alright so far, I cant complain too much. I’m still keeping my account more or less active, still writing stories and songs when I can. As of right now, I’m also working on a couple new music projects and a cosplay. All that added with my regular life? It’s good.

Nice! Keeping creative and active from the sounds of it. Nice to hear you are still writing. What cosplay are you undertaking?

I am.. just kind of fumbling, tumbling, troubling through life! Haha.. got married, found out I had cancer two weeks after, got "used" to chemo cocktails for a little over half a year every other week, bout a year out of treatments now. Just trying to find pieces of me. Trying to get back to art. Just trying to cope with life haha. As we all are.

I’m certainly working at it still. And I’m cosplaying as Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil 6, mainly for Siouxpercon (essentially a ComiCon-lite in Sioux Falls).

And I hear you there! I found a girlfriend - an old friend I’ve known for years - was in a relationship with her for a year, moved into a house together, broke up a month later (but we still get along, thank God), and now I’m just figuring myself out and learning how to best live life again. Keeping myself on a roller coaster that only goes up.

Congrats on you getting married though, Chey! I’m happy for ya! I’m sorry to hear about the cancer though - I at least hope the treatments are going well and are helping. Hopefully getting back to your art helps with that too; I love seeing your stuff still. And I hear you there on life.
Just remember though, as one of my new favorite comedians said once, “I don’t fail, I succeed at finding what doesn’t work.”

Ahh nice! That would be cool to check out if you decide to post pictures, and if I can find it in me to revamp, comeback, settle in again. Online interacting is just something I have always had a hard time keeping up with. Thus far Instagram has been a reasonable hit for me to keep updated with art and whatnots haha.

That sounds like the.. best outcome to an otherwise rather miserable situation? Ah... least you can look at things only going up.

Thank you on the well wishes. My treatments have been over for a while, but lingering effects love to remind me on how different everything is now. But yo, I got hair again, am alive... just have lots to work through. And a new lifetime of scans, new scars, different fears, and outlooks ahead. Wild world it is. But guess I'm doing fine.

It's lovely hearing from you again, after all this time.

Yeah, definitely. That’s how I think everyone should look at things every once in a while. It’s hard, but so’s everything else worth doing.

You’re welcome. And yeah, I’m sure it’s a lot of work to come back from that. But hey, you’re actually working on it and are rebounding as well as you can.

Man, sometimes pictures on phones are better then just cameras. The tech world we live in these days, it's nuts. On any road, looking foreword to seeing what you create!

Someone has it was worse then you, always. Getting over yourself, and being kinder then necessary are all good things when done in healthy doses.

Rebounding is, well, debatable haha. I look in the mirror and don't recognize myself. I look at wedding pictures and I don't recognize me there neither. It's all very, bizarre. Strange, things. Haha.

Heah, we are who we are, and we reflect what we wear. It's funny to see styles change in individuals, and sometimes come back around, as we get older. Honestly from what I can see, you've taken a look quite like Richard Dean Anderson to your face. You find any Stargates, you better share the knowledge haha.

Hey, you're rebounding in your own way - kicking cancer's ass and trying to get back into art when and where you can. 

That's definitely true as well. But wait...you're saying I look like MacGyver then? Haha, I wish I had his brains. 
And I can also understand hiding from the internet when life gets complicated, especially these days.

I know I know, when life gets complicated I hide from the internet in a way, least in making my own presence really known haha. And seeing how this is my 3rd DA account... I don't know what that means ha. But this one I really want to clean up and just hold myself to it.

I'm good glad to hear that she is coming along nicely. I've been doing well I'm now repairing my friends Fausticorn from EQLA. Work has spiraled down hill but other than that I'm ok. Looking forward to seeing Zecora.
