I'll be in town all Summer~!
Even at the end of July when my mom and sis go see my dad in Wisconsin.
I plan to get drunk at least once this summer and experience what it's like. Hopefully with the b/f around. XDD

Oh, I'll be staying here in town. ^^ I have my b/f here, he won't let me go. XD He doesn't have room, but he says they can remodel a room and make it into a guest-house. But, until then, I have a friend who lives down S. Ave. West with a spare-room. Her grandparents are always asking me to move in anyway, so... XDD

Uhhh... lol my past 2 and a half years? lol. A lot. I'm at the U of M studying Media Arts and I speak some Japanese now... that's the simplest answer...?

I know, it's hard to believe so much can happen in such a short time. I've moved 8 times in that two and half years! I hope things are going good for you and UM's media art program isn't too shabby; I couldn't stand it for the fine art stuff.

I'm... going to try getting into the fine art... but I am worried I'll hate the students... the ones that come out seem... shallow, hipster capital on campus.

I didn't get along with the students or teachers all that well in UM's art program. At least here at art school, even though there are a lot of hipsters (who are not as annoying as the rich kids), most of the students are just dedicated to art and don't really fit into any one stereo type. Portland is a bit of hipster capital so there's no escape here hahaha

Well I love the Media Arts people, they're all broke and depressed about how hard its going to be to get jobs in Hollywood/wherever else would hire us, but they always try really hard and have a great sense of humor about it all

Then keep with it! You don't need university to dive into the fine art, and a lot of times the people in those non-university art classes/communities are waaaaay nicer to get along with. That's how I learned to paint!
