You have always knocked my hosiery off but these necklaces are out of this world gorgeous! My last gf wouldn't have appreciated them in as much as a Galapagos Turtle has a longer neck. (But she did have a beautiful shell and was a hell of a swimmer!)

I like to go and see the gallery of people who once left comment on my stuff. (I can afford it, since they are not that many )
And right now I'm glad I did! Your work is amazing. I already had " STRONGHOLD bracelet" as one of my favorite, but kind of forgot about your work. (Shame)
It will never happen again, since I'm now watching you !

I really admire your work. I'm not sure how many occasions you can wear the larger necklace. But they're very artistic and have subjects that you don't expect in jewelry, like "meats of Evil" and "Vices." They're beautiful statement jewelry.
My favorite pieces though are the ones that have tiny subjects that are framed by something else. Like the brain within the heart. Gotta admit though, "WOMB" was rather dark (in nan awesome way.)

I saw your photographies @ DeviantART and though that you’d fit into this graphic site: FringeFX.
It has photo of the week competitions, and there are several photographers there, who is ready to share their work and experience.

Candella! Dollink! I'm back too! Hoo Hah! My brains fell out about a year ago and I have been struggling with my Timberphobia. That's fear of being mistaken for plywood.
But, with the proper therapy, some cosmetic work fromm a prominent tree surgeon and some termite repellent, I think I'll be fine.
And your creations are just so wonderful! What a beautiful brain you have! mmmmph!

my biggest influences are Alex Pardee, Greg Craola, Jason Jacenko, liz Mcgrath, Joe Sorren, Mark Ryden, and of course Tim Burton...Im sure theres so many more, not to mention music has a big part during the creative process...I dont really have any models...yet. That is coming because my husband is a fashion Photographer so I can use his photographs. You should check out his website lloydrosenphotography.com His personal work portfolio is the most innovative...Thanks so much for the interest, I always love talking shop...whats "your" influences?

I'm not really familiar with those names but I'm sure I will take the time to do some researching. Thanks for the link. I was really blown away at how well he takes his photographs. That's some talent!!!!!! Thanks for sharing that with me! When did he start that? And that's awesome that you can use his work to inspire yourself in your field of art. I would love to have my picture taken the way he does in his portfolio. I'm starting a new googley-eyed guy...I won't reveal it to you just yet. haha. My influences are mostly music and if I come across an artist then I will for sure do some reading on them. All the influences and models come from music mostly. The biggest is Marilyn Manson. There are a few others...like HIM, The Rasmus, and different acoustic and heavy metal bands. His art is something else. He works a lot with water color. haha I enjoy talking shop as well! Thanks again and have a good one!

You should totally look up those artists, they'll be right up your alley. Thank you for the compliments on Lloyd's work, I'll def pass it on. He started taking pics of models about 2 years ago...he's completely self taught...alot of fuckin painful hours of learning and screwing up. I have some of his work in my gallery because Ive had to do wardrobe styling....anyway, yeah, Marilyn Manson kicks ass..music and art! The mans a genius...A band you MUST check out is Diary Of Dreams..they're from Germany...they're pretty dark but passionate. They never come to the damn U.S. though! Anyway, I am ALSO, like you, working on a new work of art... based on a drawing Lloyd did a few years back...Its called "Interview With The Devil" but thats all Im going to tell you..ha ha Welp got some work to do for the moment so talk later. Feel free to write any time btw...

Hey there! I checked out Diary or Dreams and I really like their sound. I like the darker sound of music. They kind of fit in with HIM a little bit. But then again I like most music.OOO can't wait to see it!
What are you up to for this weekend? What media do you like to work in most of the time? I really enjoy just pencil. But I'm trying mix up some color...water color and acrylic . Not so much of a fan of oil but they still look nice though.
And of course I will write any time. It's nice to chat with someone about art and getting input and such. Where abouts are you from?

Glad you like!...I had a feeling you might. I bet you like Combichrist don't you? If you haven't already heard of them, you better check it out. Not sure what is going on this weekend...yet. We're going to Rupaul's Drag Race art show on Thursday...def bringing my camera...every drag queen in town will for sure be there!
As far as media....I use all kinds of things...I prefer acrylics for paintings, super sculpey for dolls and sculptures & such, and whatever other junk I can find to use...Im a mixed media kind of girl. Im trying to force myself with the pencil because I need some serious work in that area. Thats the goal for 2009. I live in Hollywood, Ca btw...a few blocks from all the clubs. I 'was' in Long Beach...bleh! Way the hell too ghetto and nothing going on. Its only like a 1/2 hour away but its totally different..so Hollywood it is. Where are you from?

Hello again! It's a relaxing Thursday evening here.
Yes, Combichrist is a great band as well! Anything experimental is great! oooo That's gonna be a good time! Are you gonna put up pictures at all? I would like to see them
I try and use a mixed media as well, but more often then others just use pencil Easy and hassle free. haha.
I'm located down in Saskatchewan, Canada. Hahaha yes were its damn cold in the winter time. Like tonight, the boyfriend, myself and his friend went out to the ice track and pulled me behind. It's a lot of fun! Gives you such a rush. haha. We do lots of skating and sledding and stuff here. It's great. But then again its pretty lame at times. It gets sooooo cold!!!!
But oh well.
That's awesome that you live there! To live in Hollywood, that would be pretty intense! What are the clubs like there?
Here...I just stay away. Its nothing but trouble! hahaha I would rather stay at home where its safe.
There's definitly quite the art and music scene here. A lot of eclectic people here. It's great.
But anyways, I'm gonna get going though. Gotta get some stuff done. Have a great night! Toodles!

Hey...I figured you would know who Combichrist are...they're actually going to perform in just a couple days out here..
Well, we didnt get to that art show because we had a shoot and it went later than we expected...we were just so freakin hungry and tired..the thought of going right back out made me want to barf. The art show was such a spectacle though...the gallery was so over packed that the police werent letting any people in...including Rupaul!! She's the guest of honor and they wouldnt let her in..the art and photography they have displayed is so kick ass though..in case you're wondering how we know all this, we walked down to the gallery yesterday.
so you're in Canada..yeah Ive heard it gets cold as hell..Its been like 80 degrees every day here..nice winter huh? My mom grew up in Montreal..Ive only been to Vancouver BC...bad ass china town there!
I really love living in Hollywood and fyi, the clubs rock and there are alot of them. Its hard to describe what they're like. It depends on what night you go. We like mainly a few because its our kind of music...I dont like those "hoighty toighty, you're not cool enough to get in" clubs..bleh Well Im hungry as hell so Im gonna go eat!

Evening!
hahaha for sure! Oooo...are you going? Wow! That would be something to see. It's nothing compared to what the shows are out there. It gets full but nothing that involves the police. hahaha and yes it does get cold as hell here. What about there? What's the coldest it would get there? haha Yeah I've heard. I have yet to get out there. My aunty lives down in BC. She helps produce movies and such. It's a pretty wicked job. She's met quite a few celebs...Such as Vin Diesel, Arnold Schwarzenegger(probably spelled his name wrong)along with a few others. BC is really gorgeous. From pictures and stories I've heard. Hollywood would be crazy to live there, but very enjoyable. What's on the agenda for the weekend? Photoshoots? I'm not too sure what I'm going to partake in. Maybe some outdoor activities. But I should get going though. Gonna work on this water color picture for the bf's grandparents. I'll be taking a picture of it once its finished
I'm really impressed with it so far
Do you much cooking or baking or anything? Have a gooder!

Hey, we didnt go to Combichrist...couldnt afford it this time...we did go dancing the other night though...Club Perversion...You would love it...lots of industrial tunes. As far as the coldest temp...it usually doesnt go below the low 50's at night this time of year...lets just say its always sunny and 70...the weather doesnt change much here. Its one of the few places where you could actually get sick of the sun..ha ha! So your aunt helps produce movies? Thats cool, anything I might know? That would be an exciting thing to put so much time and sweat into a piece of work you love. Oh yeah, speaking of celebs...I and my hubby met Henry Rollins (Black Flag) the other day..he was "trading" used cds at Amoeba Records! He so old school..ha! Hollywood aka Hollyweird, is def a crazy place..there are ALOT of crazies here...like disturbed crazy. Well to each their own!
We just have shoots this weekend but next friday i think we're gonna go to Das Bunker (night club) I havent been there before but Ive heard its cool. I cant wait to see your new painting you're doing, Im sure it will be fabulous! In answer to your question about cooking, Im a cooking fiend. I cook primarily vegan/vegetarian so I had to expand the menu. Breakfast is ready, talk soon!

Hey there! Sorry it has taken me so long to reply. Been busy with things. Hope things with you have been going groovy!
Haha....Well...The painting I had done, I had forgotten to take a picture of it. But it was of a beach scene with an island in the background and a tree with a colorful flower on it with a dragonfly as well. It ended up turning out alright The bf's grandparents really liked it
OOO cooking fiend hey!? haha right on! I'm getting there. Always trying new things and what not. When did you decide for vegan/vegetarian?
Anything going on today? Well...I think today were going to be handing out flyers for the bfs business and see what goes from there. Going to try to get some drawing done as well.
But I should get going though. Hope you have a fantastic day! Take care and chat with you again soon!

Alrighty then...What size painting and just to confirm, you said just a portrait? Once we confirm those details, I'll quote a price and you can tell me if you still want. I'll have to get your mailing info so I can figure out shipping as well. I will also need a pic of you.
Talk soon
