It’s actually really easy. Once you’ve downloaded/installed the VCV voice bank, you open up a VCV UST (or you can also open a CV UST and then use a CV to VCV plug-in to convert it to VCV), then you can follow my tutorial’s instructions to fit the voice to the UST [link]

Also though, before you use the CV to VCV plug-in, the VCV UTAU has to already be selected and the CV UST has to be in hiragana. If it's not in hiragana, there's a plug-in for converting romaji USTs to hiragana USTs too. xD

Hmmm... Did you select all the notes first? Because the notes you want to convert also have to be selected before you use the plug-in to convert them.

Well I started using UTAU around February of 2011, so I guess that does make me your senpai. xDD
But yeah, sure, I can give you some advice. Hmmm… A lot of stuff is trial and error, trying things out on your own, and using your best judgment about what sound good. But some things that I think can help EXTREMELY are:
Having a well-edited oto.ini file
Fitting your UTAU to the USTs that you use (I made tutorials on doing this for both CV and VCV banks)
Using a good mixing program (pretty much use anything other than Audacity. xD I use the free version of FL Studio)
Some people might also say that finding the perfect resampler for your UTAU is super important, but I’ve never really had much of a problem with this. I just use the default resampler or TIPS almost all of the time and the voices sound fine. *shrug*

Anything specific you want advice or help with?

Uh, no, having to change your UTAU’s oto for each UST that you use is not normal. xD
I’m planning on eventually making an oto.ini tutorial, but in the meantime, want me to have a look at your UTAU’s oto and fix it up as needed?

But since they aren’t released yet, you could PM me a download link to them. I usually finish otoing a CV bank within a couple hours, but I got a lot of school work to do, so it might take a couple days before I finish.
