Amazing job so far in your current comic overzealous. I like it since it unique compare to other Momswap AU's since most of them make Pearl an agent of the Gem Homeworld, instead Pearl more or less switch roles with Lapis. Also thier is one thing I like to talk about. While Lapis is an interesting character I feel like her powers will be downplayed in future episodes. When we fist saw her she fought evenly againt the Crystal Gem,while her gem was crack no less. During her next appears we never saw that level of power again she had to force fuse with Jasper in order to stop her, instead of just using the ocean to clubber her. I may be other thinking this but I just can help but feel we'll never see Lapis using the same amount of power as she did in her fist appears. Which would be quite the paradox since a gem is suppose to be weeken when their cracked.

Thanks. Yeah, I can see that happening. I think it's actually a trope. When a character that is super strong joins the main characters, they suddenly become much weaker.

Yeah that sadly happens. When making a villain turn hero one need to think of cons before pros when doing so, so that when they join the heroes they won't appear downplayed. By the way how strong is Lapis in your comics?

I haven't really thought about it since I haven't drawn any actual fights. I think if she was angry enough, she could be as strong as when she first showed up in the show. Well, I'm not writing the current comic, Overzealous, someone else is. I'm just drawing it. So, we'll see what my writer comes up with.

I just have to to comment on your SU Momswap AU. Your the person that introduced me to it and out off all the Momswaps I've seen and read your version is the best I've seen yet. You managed to make Jasper, Peridot and Lapis the Crystal Gems and still retain some of their orginal traits as well. I'm tempted to say I might it more than the orginal. I say this beacuse during the Lapis origan i liked the fact that Rose and Jasper freed her when they saw the mirror. It always bugged me on how Pearl, Garnet and Amythest didn't know Lapis was imprionsed in the mirror for 5000 years yet Steven discovered this in one day. So keep up the good cause your doing the awsome job.
