I've noticed that since I posted the first 'Next 100' blog, I began receiving personal emails from friends and their friends about how more attention must be drawn to those of us who are considered 'underdogs' in this comic biz. With regards to John, he hit upon a stride that many people talk about, but don't do--- and John kicked ass with his site ( my opinion) and that deserves due credit! If we don't start getting ourselves together on this thing, Marvel and DC are cool--- but they'll be ALL that'll remain of the biz!

I think what I'm gonna do is, sculpt other artist characters for them ($100) a pop, for a 8 to 10 inch sculpt. For those creators that would love to see their work in 3D. Hopefully I can use that as a way to further network and market myself. I think it's pretty good work and it's fairly cheap.

Basically write out the entire story arc from start to finish in ONE PAGE! ( Sell'em in one shot!)

The challenge is trying to be as straightforward as you can w/o suckin'.
