I left Elfwood because I submitted an airbrushed t-shirt of The Crow, that I hand painted, and was told it was a photograph and that I was not good enough to paint it. They called me a liar. I was severely offended. I didn't go back.

Ahh, I think I remember that now! It's been so long, a lot of the old details are lost to me now...

How have you been in yourself? Has life treated you any better than it used to? I've moved on a lot since those days, discovered a lot about myself and life in general and now at the grand old age of 30 I'm about to become a mum for the first time...I'm currently 2 days overdue Yet more learning - it wasn't planned so it's taken some getting used to since I've always been told I was infertile...

It'#s great to hear from you again, I have a lot of fond memories of our stories from the past, although I know there's a lot I've forgotten. Between you and the others in the chatrooms you helped me survive the hardest time in my life so far, and taught me a lot about...well, a lot. I figured it was about time I told those who made such a big impact just how much they influenced my life, and show my appreciation by saying thankyou I also apologise for anything I may have said or done that was untoward or insulting - my life back then was not ideal to say the least and I was still too young to cope with it all the way I had to.

Of all the things I have learned, the main one would be 'never be afraid to bow to those who deserve it.'

Thanks, I'm still waiting for said responsibility to turn up - 7 days late so far! Little git is taking its sweet time, I can see what kind of little horror I'm going to be raising over the next lifetime

You sound like life has worn you thin, my friend. Don't despair for too long about all those things that have taken their toll - as you say, some things change and some don't. No matter what, we learn from our experiences (even if they're terrible and we are left wondering what exactly there is in life for us after all). A long time ago Elfwood and the people and stories there propped me up during what turned out to be one of my biggest tests - compared to what happened to me during those times, nothing since has seemed as bad.

If you need to talk, let me know. Perhaps you've spoken so much over the years it feels futile now, but you helped me once and I owe you back the honour.

Woah, easy there tiger! I understand your anger, I know from the past that you were always seriously against copyright theft. Seems that Elfwood has ended up on quite a few people's nerves, since most of the ones I knew from before are no longer there. I just noticed you'd logged in a week ago and thought you were still resident there

There's no sense in holding all that anger about it anyway - what good is it going to serve? Look at all those amazing images you've created, and all the people who love you and your work. No stupid admit is going to change that.

I got real pissed off at those guys. I submitted a t-shirt that I painted of Brandon Lee as the crow, and they rejected it and said I didn't paint it. I. DID. Paint it, and I don't steal art and so they insulted me on two counts in one message. I'm all for feeling like it was a compliment, because I did an awesome job rendering the image on the shirt with an Airbrush, but I draw the line at moderator jits who think they know more than they do telling me what I did and didn't do. so I haven't been back. I yanked all my art and left.
