oh really? then why there's a whole section of self portraits?

im sick and tired of all the ppl that decide that something isnt art just because they dont like it. as long as it's not against dA rules, it can be here. even if it's selfshots made by crappy phone-cam, and it's so grainy u could make a nuclear power station with it.

Hi there, I dont mean to interject in this fascinating conversation but I do have to agree with MathisR...this guy might be putting up some crap that I dont agree with or like, but in someone eye it is art and unless your going to critic the art then you should keep your opinion to yourself, I know I could go through your gallery, which I have and certainly dont think too much of it, and I'm sure if in this conversation if I gave you some advice you would just think I'm some kind of arsehole so I wont bother. Although I like cats but there is nothing artistic in the way you have photographed yours, but the same can be said for my gallery, I have shit up you wouldnt like and your more than welcome to tell me, but unless your going to tell me in a way that improved my gallery it will not really concern me, because I havent really updated my gallery in a long time and I am a better photographer than I was a few years back. So yeah perhaps a little less 'trolling because you care' and just 'give advice because you care'? sounds wussy but you might actually make a friend or 2 along the way.

and yes, u cant tell me my face it's ugly (it is probably the truth), but the guy u see in the pics on this gallery is not me.
note, u can say the "mona lisa" is ugly, and it's still art.
