Did you seriously try and guilt trip me man? Look it's not like how it was before, if I use guest characters too much my main characters won't get their spotlight and that's where my focus should be. The reason the straw hats are there is purely to help develop my main characters. After this and the next arc Mike and Ian are going to appear less too, I needed them to fill spots for the tournament since two of my main characters won't reapper for a bit.

You're right: Though I used to find it cool I can understand that it's not such a good idea to have too many characters. The reason I thought otherwise was because I took a lot of inspiration from Total Drama, which usually has about 16-22 characters a season. But what this does is make it harder to give each character distinct personalities. I guess the hard limit should about 10 characters, anyone else is either a minor character or gets put into another story.

I'm not saying it can never happen again, but I need to show that I understand that much. Especially as I'll be adding two new main characters next season. Season 9 was the testing ground for me, to see if I can actually take a breather and develop my characters. I'd say it was a success, I've got a lot of things to work with now for future story arcs. Next season I'll be reducing the screen time for guest characters except for Snowy of course.

Yes. Sorry for any journals or status updates in April that come across as... losing it. I got into family drama over something ridiculous and doubted everything, and also seem to be suffering from perpetual writer's block (it killed many ideas I wanted to show to the world many years ago), it really seems to have taken its toll on me. I wish I wasn't a perfectionist, it may seem ideal to try to be the very best you can be, constantly challenge yourself to be better, but sometimes it just isn't worth it. Just too stressful. X_X
