your sexy! And trains is where it's at. Does the train system suck in Australia? Because they rock in Germany.

Lol Thank you?
No not really, the trains run better than majority of the bus lines though when 1 train has issues the rest for the day do as well and it lasts about a week. The upside is they are never really full of people at the best of times (this depends on state though).

ELFanatic In reply to Rz0rS [2010-02-10 04:18:38 +0000 UTC]
yeah thanks. well, I guess it depends on if you like to be called sexy. Maybe you like being called smexy?
I wish we had trains in America. We have regional ones and I love them. they get crowded, unlike australia but only during the late hours when every one wants to go home. Those fucking assholes, crowding my train like that.
WOOOOOOOOW! you're damn good artist, how did you learn?

Rz0rS In reply to ELFanatic [2010-02-10 06:57:28 +0000 UTC]
I don't really take well to any compliments regarding my looks...I tend to find it some what creepy but since I get them reasonably often you'd think I would have learnt a way to accept them. Smexy just makes me laugh I use it all the time.
I don't mind public transport as I don't have my license and kind of don't want it though for work reasons I should get it since unemployment sucks.
I learnt like anyone does...by practicing a shit load and sticking with it even though I fail at a lot of attempts. Another helpful key is fan art...sometimes I don't have the most useful imagination for my current skills so I tend to take notes from others I find fabulous. I'm still a learner when it comes to a lot of things.
Being a perfectionist isn't helpful at all, I tend to lose my patience with something and rush it. I'm sure if I spent more time on things they would turn out better.

awww, well I don't want to creep you out. Never you worry, I will never call you sexy again! You know, you're making me sound mean.
Believe me, public transportation is the way to go if you can. cars cost a looooooot. Besides you can read or sleep on a train. Cars, you get tired and crash.
Fanart eh? Of what, may I ask? games, movies, anime? Yeah, it's true, that's my weak point, I don't practice enough. I think I will need a class to instruct me though, I think I need instruction. I'm impressed that you learned without instruction.
wait, that sounds like opposites to me. Perfectionist tend to stay on an art piece for a long time until it's perfect. but you end up rushing it and it's not perfect? What kind of a perfectionist are you? lol.

Rz0rS In reply to ELFanatic [2010-02-11 22:31:29 +0000 UTC]
Lol It's fine. You aren't mean I just have issues lol.
I don't like sleeping on trains...I get paranoid I'll miss my stop.
I don't really play a lot of games or watch a lot of movies. Anime well it's rather a hit and miss. I tend to just find people on dA that I like and try to do what they have done in my own little way.
Well you'd think that would be the case for a perfectionist but I also have a short attention span and I am impatient. SO after like an hour or so I get frustrated that I can't draw something exactly how it is in my head and just give up. I'm not a very good perfectionist...at least not when drawing anyway.

Be honest though, you may not like being called sexy but you do still look in the mirror and KNOW that you're sexy right?
oh yeah, that's true. but if you have friends on the train with you then you just force them to stay up and then you can sleep on the train.
I hear ya with anime. There's some good anime out there but it can be hard to find at times. Especially because most people who like anime have no discretion, they like everything! They trick you into thinking every anime is amazing, then you watch it and it's crap. You're just like, god damn it john. Yugioh sucks, you asshole. heh heh
I must say you're the most entertaining perfectionist ever. The lazy perfectionist. No, actually it's more like ADD perfectionism. Your addictively perfectionistic(<-look how many words I'm creating right now, I'm an inventor) on an art piece then the ADD kicks in and you start working on a new art piece.

Honestly, no I don't look in the mirror and know I am sexy. Some day I do believe I am beautiful and tend to be on a massive high of myself for the whole day but like most things it tends to come and go. It's easier to say "Well I am definately prettier than her.." than to just percieve myself as such without any comparison.
I don't have many friends where I live now and my usual train ride only takes 2 minutes. Though before I moved it was usually an hour and a half so I would set an alarm on my phone so I would wake up before my stop.
The only anime I actually enjoyed was 'Howls Moving Castle' I'm not sure why but I just found it amusing. I think I enjoy drawing manga but watching it move just gets quite repetitive. "Ooo this person has amazing powers and has the same haircut as that dude in that movie...OH NO SHE'S GOING TO FALL IN LOVE...then he dies....then she dies....then she comes back with even more awesome powers".
Lol I distort the English language frequently mostly because I'd rather spell it how I actually would say it. Exiteded being the most horrible since many people look at me oddly when I say it and constantly miss spell it.
I generally start on a new piece each day...then maybe work on 2 pieces for the next couple of weeks before getting bored with them. It's rather frustrating but as I constantly look at new things my style tends to get distorted along the way and any old pieces that don't fit just get left.

I think that's how you have to do it in a realistic concept. I mean, you can't say I am beautiful because what does that term mean absolutely. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And even more, it's the opposite of ugly. So unless you have determined that someone is ugly, like your fellow classmates, or Angeline Jolie, then you don't have a premise to judge your own beauty. But thankfully, we live on a planet with a whole bunch of ugly people. So, in that sense, you should be thinking, damn, I'm beautiful every time you look at someone. I know I do! I'm always looking at a friend and thinking, damn, I'm handsome.
ha ha. you pinned it on the head with anime. I used to watch it but I think that's why I stopped. I used to watch but I was one of those people that had to watch every anime, and just like movies, some are good but most are mediocre. and had that damn repetitive storyline that you described. Villian is strong-> here is losing-> wait, new power-> oh no, villian transformed-> wait, hero has a new power-> villian trasformers! he kills hero's friend-> hero gets stronger." And I'm in the corner screaming "GOD! somebody win!" and of course love is somewhere in the mix.
but there are some that were darker, delve into social issues and psychological complexities. I dug that shit. Namely from the 80's.
I used to spell sarcasm weird. Something like sarcasism. ha ha. nobody knew what I was talking about. And they would be like, "do you really think that's the right way to spell sarcasm?" and I would try to play it off and be like "nah, I was being sarcistastic" ha ha.
And in case you were ever wondering, god is a popstar.

I read your message like 4 times...and couldn't think of anything exciting to reply back with other than:
The lead singer of the bands pretty hunky looking...and the only part I understood of that song was "God is a popstar..." lol Was still quite catchy and I liked a couple of other songs by them that I looked at even though I don't understand German. Filmclips were cool so kudos to them for that.

are you saying that my reply was lame and boring and stupid?
Maybe I'm not good at conversation. I know some people who have done a bit of speed in their life, and they're able to talk about a lot, and they're not repetitive. So maybe I'm used to not really saying much and they just have a lot to say about it but then I talk to a normal person and I didn't say much so they don't have much to say back. I don't know. You got me thinking lady friend.
I just thought it was hilarious that the song name was God is a popstar. I don't know, I giggled. But yeah, oomph has a few good songs.

I actually have no idea, I've just always drawn things for as long as I could remember. I had a habit of not concentrating in class and doodling on paper was a good way to help me out. Even though teachers hated it still because I wouldn't watch them while they talk...but I get nervous when I stare at people too long.
Then it wasn't until I started getting into it in my final 2 years of school that I realised I wasn't the shittiest artist around so I started looking into pets sites for some extra cash and went from there.
