haha yes u can technically have two Monoliths safeguarding it that was another formation idea i had where instead of using two flyers i use two Monoliths reinforcing it
of course if your doing that then basically your entire army will be the hero, two infantry squads, and the three tanks and thats your entire army haha but it is a lot of firepower so maybe its worth it heh

but yeah yeah everyone has those but they arent as invincible as some people act like they are. I had my Monolith one time deep strike down right behind an entire army of all anti tank units. Every single one of them was designed to wipe out tanks and my Monolith was on its own
yet my Monolith killed three of them and still survived everyone shooting at it haha XD

...with my experience; "Kill the enemy troops carrying melta bombs!", as my Monolith got wrecked with single hit in one game years ago.
Yup, melta-bomb is the most devastating anti-tank weapon I know...

haha and yeah im super bored, its wargaming day and i brought a fuck ton of armies But the entire club got taken over by Warmachine players and the only other Warhammer players are in a game. You know its reasons like this im glad i run my own club at my school so i dont have to put up with this bullshit. at the same time it ticks me off that i probably gathered a lot of armies for nothing, it makes me go eugh sometimes i really fucking hate my store club

but yes it sucks but maybe once winter is over then more people will come. anyways yes i do own my own Warhammer club im basically its master and aritect while the other veteran is like the advisor and librarian. he kind of helps instruct people and promote the club as i do all the planning organizing and structuring with the club. thus far its me, him, three new players and if we ever succeed there is one other averagely experienced player can join us but he can be super lazy so idk if we will convince him to join us

i guess, im not much of a fan of tomb blades honestly sorry =/ i think wraiths are a lot more OP now. the main difference is tomb blades can ressurect wraiths cant however wraiths are A LOT better in close quarters and have much better weapons. its up to you i suppose since you can also spam more tomb blades than you can wraiths but i feel like wraiths can be a lot better hmmmmmmmmm it is a tough call between the two haha

True, and the Reclamation Legion has "Ever-Living" Command benefit (Models in detachment has +1 bonus for Reanimation Protocols)...

Point value: C.W - 120 points for three. T.B - 54 points for three
WS: C.W - 4. T.B - 4
BS: C.W - 4. T.B - 4
S: C.W - 6. T.B - 4
T: C.W - 5. T.B - 5
W: C.W - 2. T.B - 1
Initative is the same
A: C.W - 3. T.B - 1
Sv: C.W - 3+. T.B - 4+

Special Rules:
C.W - Fearless, Rending, Very Bulking (no res protocols), and 3+ invul save
T.B - Reanimation Protocols (IF you make the purchases then Tomb Blades can be upgraded to have a 3+ armor save and a 4 + invul save)

Weapon comparison
T.B - twin linked gauss blasters = range 25/ S 5/ AP 4/ Rapid fire/ Gauss
C.W - transdimensional beamer = range 12/ S 4/ AP 2/ Heavy 1, Exile Ray (like guass rules except instead has instant death on a 6 which i think goes against invul saves)


Ok so now lets compare if u took the same two and built the Tomb Blades with every single upgrade u can get to make them equal the wraiths

your now looking at three Tomb blades with 3+ saves and 4+ invul saves with res protocols for
WAIT correction, Tomb Blades get no invul save at all even remotely, apparently they got rid of that as Shadowloom and Nebuloscope do not help invul save and are practically useless

Ok trying that again since shadowloom and nebuloscope are useless

you can get three Tomb Blades each with shieldvanes for 60 points and this being with NO invul save at all but res protocols a 3+ armor save far weaker S and far less attacks vs the Wraiths that are double their points and have guns that do a shit load more damage than theres

ok if i had to make an estimate, Tomb Blades now only serve a point of swarming their enemies. If u want to use Tomb Blades u have to use a gigantic army of them. You have to spam as much of those fuckers as u can like 30 in an entire game for them to have any point at all. Frankly i think u may as well just use 40 warriors since their guns really arent that much different or just use a ton of immortals for half the points
i mean idk i guess the only point of Tomb Blades now is that they have a tiny bit more protection than Immortals or Warriors do? but just stick warriors/ Immortals behind an aegis defense wall and then u hardly have to worry *shrugs*

if u want i got three tomb blades, i could trade them to u for some warriors or immortals

i would think so? There are some units and rules that protect you from instant death rules however. I think its called Eternal Warrior or Eternal Madness
no it has to be Eternal Warrior. Eternal Madness is something else entirely different
i think Eternal Warrior makes you immune to the instant death rule (IF the unit has it) otherwise instant death is supposed to bypass invul saves
gausses do NOT have instant death. They have automatic wounds and automatic penetrating hits on 6s. Which is still stupiedly broke and rediculously useful haha XD but they are not instant death. So if u get a 6 with gauss, if the other person has an invul save they can use it against gauss
however on instant death they can not use invul saves at all unless they have Eternal Warrior
one example of Eternal Warrior are Necron heroes like Trolzor and then the C'Tan are also protected against instant death
