Yay! I think I'm going to make a new DA account, there is so much past here, it's heavy. You'll probably be able to notice some form of progression, but I want somewhere for my art and poetry, something new and fresh and free.

I drew a couple of things the day after we talked, they're not great, but I'm working at it. Do you know any good books for anatomy/proportions?

as for good books...
sort of depends on which style you want to direct in.
I began exclusive to anime/manga.
I personally found it more efficient to study line art at first.
sadly I never really found an "art bible" that I so desperately hoped for.

I don't really know what kind of style yet, I want to evolve myown, when I show you the stuff I've done perhaps you'll be able to see what I'm going for. I really want to learn about proportions, it annoys me to no end because things look so off, and I have no idea about hands and feet, gah. I love it though, I think I'm buggered. I'll want to stop and leave it, but I can't, it's in me now.
I think you're right about the line art, but I have no clue about that either.
I want to find myself an "art bible" perhaps I can ask my art teacher about it when I get back.

Haha, wow, that does sound cold.
I usually burry the lower half of my face in my scarf. I need some ear muffs, the cold gets inside my head through them and gives me headaches.

I've never had mittens I don't think, and I've never owned ear muffs, refused to wear hats. I have a jumper with a hood I put up that keeps my head warm, apparently I look like a psychopath. >.<
