Just as a side note Konnichiwa is written in Hiragana only, there's no kanji for it. It omes from the traditional gretting of Kon Nichi wa ii desu ne. (This day is beautiful, yes.) Which eventually got shortened to kon nichi wa or Konnichiwa.
*note: I put the spaces in as a learning tool. As you are aware there are no spaces in Japanese.
