Haha, thank YOU ., Out of those bands, I've never heard about the bands such as The Bauhaus, The Sisters Of Mercy, Echo & The Bunnymen, Ride, and Lush. I guess i gotta check them out soon as soon as my procrastinator-ish nature allows me. Thank you for that, it's great to know people with an open mind and broad tastes, who love music with a passion as i do.

Thank you for showing interest in my musical taste! It means a lot coming from another artist! I guess if your gonna read all that i wrote, you might be regretting asking me or be bored reading it... but in all fairness, i said i could REALLY go on, right? haha
haha i see i see, my mistake on "Trent of Daria". Music? Well, it's just about the greatest fucken thing in the world! Can you imagine the dull (even more so) life without it? The movies, the market, and the fact that many of our favourite musicians (maybe even Robert Smith) could be working at a coffee shop as we speak without theire musical careers, everything would be so different. No joy without music! YES! My taste in music? I'm so touched to be asked by a stranger on the net! (jks) especially a DA member. Lets start with the Classics, very powerful, inspirational (like many other types of music), and revolutionary. Can't live without it. Jazz (all types, from fast and energetic kinda jazz to soft candlelight dinner music jazz), can't live without that either. Oldies music is great too, swingish and fun, gotta have that too. Just singers such as Lou Reed and Frank Sinatra, etc..., they're all good too, it's very nice music. Reggae and Reggaish Ska is really good too, like Marley or Sublime. Alternatives (new and old) such as The Cure and Radiohead are both AMAZING, and The Mars Volta is pretty good too, I believe they are one of many true innovators of music. Of course, this includes Oldie rock too, like Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, Bowie, Hendrix, G n R (theyre not THAT old but still) and such (too many to name dammit!). Grunge is pretty great too, such as Silverchair, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins (they're not TOO grungy but w.e) are a necessity bands for a healthy musical diet haha. Metal is great too, be it Slayer, Metallica (NOT St. Anger, this is where they go straight downhill), melodic metal such as Children of Bodom or In Flames, or Classical Death Metal like Cradle of Filth or Dimmu Borgir. Metal is genius too.
Easy Listening Acoustics or light rock such as The Barenaked Ladies and Alanis Morissette is damn good too. So is progressive metal (DREAM THEATRE IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE). There isn't too many, but IS such thing as good bands that like just like punkish, fast, easy to play, repetitive, and plain fun to listen to, like Flashlight Brown, The Strokes, Interpol, Matthew Good Band and Weezer ( weezer is pretty soft too, but a whole new category for them?). Now we come to rap. I'm not a great fan of rap, but there are definately greatly talented breakthrough lyricist out there with a good intentions, heart, and soul, who know that great music isn't about money, skimpy girls, and fast cars ( run-on sentence? run-on sentence? ) These individual artists are rappers such as Tupac Shakur, Talib Kweli, and The Cunninglynguists. NWA is nothing like how i described the last 3, but they're still damn good & jokes. WOW I went on! I'm sorry if i took up so much room on your page!!!! sorry, but again, i said i could on on about this right
haha if you actually read all of this, I guess i should say Thank you for taking to time to read what I poured my 100% honesty and love for music into.
Now... who and what else are YOU a fan of (other than Bowie, The Cure, The Who, and Cocteau Twins) ????????
???????????????????????????
peace
