I've been fine. Freshman year has been moving almost disturbingly smoothly, my art (imo) has greatly improved, and I've discovered a long-dormant love of European rock music~

i have been up and down. I am about to crash and burn around May, but I have been working on finishing my undergrad. I have also been taking Japanese.

Hope nothing too bad happens during that 'crash and burn'. It's good that you're still in school. My sister can sympathize if you're having trouble, I'm sure. I've been taking Japanese lessons recently, too, actually. Private lessons. I'm good with reading and writing (though I don't know much kanji yet), but not so much with the vocab... how about you?

I do well with the writing and reading and I do okay with the knaji, but still have trouble learning the vocabulary. I have to keep a journal in japanese. My trouble in school is applying for my masters.

unfortunately not. It is a portfolio with several small essays and examples. Followed by an interview, which includes a short essay writing, a presentation, and questions & answers section. It stresses me out. What is with the fake friends posting?

The journal was just something I wanted to pass on because I felt some other people might sympathize. I don't have any friends like that online, of course, but I see way too many people like that in real life and it pisses me off. D< That, and I wanted to update my journal 'cause I'm sick of mine being so freaking long all the time..

Nah, it's fine. Most people are busy these days. :/ In my case it's because of high school - I get home, I eat, I unwind, I do my homework, I eat again, I lull around on the computer for hours with no real productive sense of direction, and then I crash out on my bed. It's a bad cycle that I need to break. D;

So sorry your computer crashed! Did you have it backed up at all?

Just finished taking the praxis last saturday and I am testing for the next belt in my martial arts friday and I am keeping my house to together. So I am very busy. I still not forgotten that I owe you a drawing. I am sorry I haven't completed it yet.
