My gums. And I don't know, I haven't chewed anything. They needed to put a composite on my back teeth to fix my alignment and the over bite, so only my first molars touch each other when I bite down. I /can't/ really chew anything because my other teeth don't touch. IT doesn't hurt.... Just itches an insane amount. It's driving me insane and Katey says they look like jewelry
