Likewise, my apologies for the tardiness of my reply...
There are some here on dA, near as I can rationalize a rather peculiar subset of collection fetishists, who seem to use dA for little to nothing else beyond amassing llama badges. Of course, dA would seem to be stoking these odd embers of competition by having different levels of llama icons depending of however many have been accumulated.
Me, I prefer to use them as a simple yet sincere expression of gratitude whenever someone leaves a comment or favorites something from the gallery. I can thus only presume you fall into one of those two categories of visitors to this profile. That, or I enjoyed something you created and offered the badge in appreciation for you sharing it with us.
All hail our future Llama overlords..

Thank You for the reply.
I probably did fave and comment in the past, and forgot about it.Β my enquiary was because last year I was getting badges from members whose art I wound not have commented on or faved.Β Because of this I have stopped faving.
Thanks agin for the feedback.

Full disclosure, this profile is not officially affiliated with the Starship Schematic Database nor administered by Jim Stevenson.
This profile was established in order to provide greater, more direct access to the content of SSDB 's vast database collection to internal dA communities dedicated to starship design such as and .
To be sure, we have the utmost respect and appreciation to Jim Stevenson for the unyielding level of dedication he displayed in undertaking the formidable task of establishing the SSDB .Β Our intentΒ hereis not to supplant or minimize his efforts in any respect, merely to give wider dissemination and exposure to the wealth of information he assembled.
We hope any disappointment you feel at Jim Stevenson not being directly involved in our activities here will not dissuade you from hopefully enjoying and finding utility in what we present here.

These resources are getting more and more scarce; while these digital copies aren't ideal, will never be the same as holding the actual material in one's hands, I'm pleased individuals such as yourself will have the benefit of being able to access their content.

Glad to be of assistance.Β My only caveat of warning is to keep in mind that you are inevitably going to come across contradictory information, either information that no longer complies with canon, or even information which contradicts information about the exact same ship in a different manual.Β Still, enjoy them, keep an open mind when you come across a contradiction or error, and decide for yourself which version of the 'truth' you find most satisfying.

Honestly, it depends on what I can get my hands on, and how useful it seems. I already have hard copies of the ones posted here so I have both an personal affinity for them as well as first-hand knowledge of their general usefulness (plus, they are typically the best starting points when wading into the murky world of canon/near-canon/non-canon tech manuals).
If you have any particular suggestions, we are certainly open to them.

The Star Trek section of the SSDB has been fully transferred, except for the works by Sean Tourangeau ; since they are all already posted to his dA profile, it seemed superfluous to enter them into this database archive.
As for browsing through your own gallery, selecting our favorites, believe me, that has indeed been done through our main profile .

Actually, the process of transferring all the images from the SSDB to here has been rather dull and tedious, Iβm glad to be done with it, all we really have left to do is finish uploading our own personal designs which were submitted to the SSDB into the Development Hell folder along with the defunct Captshade-scale images which used to be on our two profiles, then weβll be able to resume work on our own designs back over on

Strictly speaking, this isn't a group, it's a profile acting as a dA backup for ShipSchematics.net .Β If you have some Star Trek related ship designs, I invite you to join and submit to either of these two groups which do accept those kind of submissions.
