I joined shuttercal today and then found you here on dA. I love the idea and will start filling in my calendar as soon as I transfer more pictures from the camera. Is a good excuse to clean it out. What a great idea.

Well, Visually at least, i would get a subscription to dA and have a CSS encoded Journal. That way everything looks a lot more interesting and enticing.
The only other way is by people like me and kati promoting you! Kati is obviously doing a lot of this, and i have now joined her!
I love the idea you guys came up with, so i will spread the word.

I actually have a friend I am trying to do the 365 with, and her Flickr is almost full, and I think your site might be more user friendly too, so I am gonna talk with her about it. I didn't look (sorry, should have) but what is your policy about rights retention (copyright etc)?

i used to host my pics on flickr also, but i really hated the way it organized everything... all photos remain the property of the individual, we dont want to step on anyone toes

it was just a random assortment that i (amperes) picked. i decided to not put up any pictures from members who had DA accounts without asking or talkin about it first. didnt want to step on anyones toes...

all we have is the main site blog, but as for personal journals, we dont have that. we're tryin to keep the site photo based and leave the blogging elsewhere
