Just the thought that you would be interested makes me happy! Like, you've made my entire month. ;v; I can entirely understand how it feels, being low on funds. A portrait trade sounds perfectly acceptable! The best thing, in my opinion, is seeing how another artist approaches a character in their own way, and how the style can translate a lot of emotion regardless of what is happening with the picture. How colors interact with each other, and how it sets the mood.

Ah, yes - seeing how another artist works and approaches making a character that you're so used to drawing a certain way certainly is refreshing and sometimes educational, that's part of the reason I love seeing other artists do it! I'm glad you're interested and I can't wait to get started on it! If you'd like, I may even be able to start on yours today - I'm still waiting for a reply from my next commission client so I've got a little free time. Which character would you like me to do?

It can be really educational, and just simply downright fun. I say, do it when you wanna! Right now, I'm currently trying to sketch for the commission I got today. I want to at least get a sketch pose done today (IRL has been kicking my ass), before I doodle anything else. @_@;

Mm. The only characters I have recent refs for are some of my WoW 'verse characters (I really ought to do other things, but that game has it's hooks in me). My warlock, Jakkin: fav.me/d7mhmqi -- I was planning on drawing a full body ref of him later, but that's on hold 'cause of commissions. My rogue, Easha: fav.me/d77pgjv (partially NSFW, male nudity). I have other characters, but they haven't been drawn in a long time.

Aww no, I like them both ; o ; maybe we'll have to do two art trades because I want to draw both of them dang Haha. I went ahead and followed you on tumblr too!

I will do a  few sketches of each and depending on which one turns out better i'll probably decide to paint that one xD haha I'm super excited! Also, feel free to do your end whenever you want, you don't have to do it at the same time as me, haha! I just happen to have some free time now.
